This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 was produced at GM’s Norwood, Ohio, facility and underwent a refurbishment completed under previous ownership. The car has been refinished in Azure Turquoise with white stripes over ivory vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a white vinyl roof, a 12-bolt rear end, a chambered exhaust system, front and rear spoilers, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15″ Rally wheels, a Hurst shifter, and a center console equipped with auxiliary gauges. The selling dealer acquired the car in March 2022, and subsequent work is said to have included multiple fluid changes and replacement of the front coil springs and rear leaf springs.
incorrect Hurst shiftier ,Cowl tag is a repo .Nice driver !
Is it a Muncie??
@@coydoyle2424 should be a round bar shafter Hurst. not flat rectangular that a Hurst replace mint chrome bar .The only place it should be flat is at the stamped name area.
@@coydoyle2424 it should be muncie m22
Very nice Z28 man.
Beautiful car! Interesting video.Thanks. You know the clock does work. At least twice a day.
It sounds like it's got 4:11.1 gears, the tach was reading around 4500 rpm @ 70 mph. I an't count many 69 Z/28 Camaro's I rode in when I was in high school.
Seems like everyone and their brother had one. They were \ are quick accelerating cars, and they didn't get good gas milage. 11-14 mpg if I remember correctly. GM built 68 Z's until Oct 1969.
The first thing I'd do is straighten the steering wheel, that would drive me nuts. Next, I'd change the tires to the correct ones. Other than that it looks and sounds awesome, 69 Z28s are one of the best looking cars from the muscle car era.
What a nitpicker! The car is gorgeous the way it is.
@@mgonzales56 thank you, I appreciate that. 30 something years in the classic car world will do that for you. You should finish reading my comment, specifically the part where I used the word "awesome" when describing this car. Also, go back and watch the entire video again. It's since been edited, it now states that the steering wheel is now straight.
Effin Sweet Z man! love that 302!
4-speed? Weren't all '67~'69 Z's 4-speed cars? Several years ago, a local radio station claimed to be raffling off a genuine 1969 Z-28. I went to look at it. It had a 350, automatic and air-conditioning!?!?!?
Nice car, sorry about this, I know a little about these cars, the grille emblem is one slat too high, common mistake.😔
Very nice resto. Best time to do a car review...any time you can. Can't understand why someone would go to the trouble of restamping a VIN if everything is supposed to be transparent with investments like this.
Paint is very nice, nothing to defend personal preference and period correct. Hell, the whole car is immaculate.
Sounds like a champ.
A school mates older brother in elementary school bought a brand new 69' SS Camaro. White with red stripes. 4 speed. I remember him burning rubber up the street. Cool cars but the only I didn't like were the cheap looking vinyl dash boards.
beautiful background! .......oh yeah the car is nice also
Beautiful. What color is that blue?
Nevermind you say ford lamans blue.
As opposed to the Z28 automatic........
L rear spoiler looks odd raised up in the front. 😂
Beautiful car all the time and money they could have made the exhaust better that exhaust system sucks
1000% Agree
That driver side quarter panel isn't quite right. The wheel opening is crooked along with the character line which runs over the top of it, and the wheel opening is too far forward, giving the appearance that the axle has shifted back! I'd do a new quarter and paint it back to its original hue.
High Bid restoration and the steering wheel isn't even straight??
I noticed that too, that would bother the crap of me. I'd swap out the tires too..
TR 711 Black interior????
It shows 727 so that is white.
Trailer?!!!…. I would rather drive it!
people don't drive cars like that.... they're collectors. buy a plain camaro if you want to drive it.
Local shows or cruise nights, I'm driving it. National events that are 100 or more miles away I'll trailer it, look at that a happy medium.
@@mariek6993 My wife and I have a nice car collection, and we drive all of our collector cars including both our 69 Z28s.
Lemans blue? why? the correct paint was metallic blue originally.
😳😂😂😂
why do people think it's a good idea to change the color on a collectable car? you just screw up the resale value when you do that.
Le Mans blue is metallic light blue paint. It IS metallic paint. 🙄😂 Code 71 B means LeMans blue paint, with a black vinyl top. They changed to a white vinyl top during the restoration.
Looks like LeMans Blue to me.
Where is the air pump?..
In the trash two weeks after owner got it home in 69.
That caution sticker on radiator is so wrong. It's not a Ford. So are many other things wrong . Sorry, I've owned many and talk to Jerry MacNeish when i have questions. Buyer beware.
You should let the car talk for itself, salesman babble. Nice shift from first to fourth though.
💯
hate these type of chatty sales guys please STFU... go sell kia's or new cars 🤡
Does the horn work?
Asking for a friend...
This was my first car when I was 16 in high school totaled within 1.5 years at 120 mph 4 drunk teens. Stupid kids.
it is what it is . cool but the white seats and top sucks !
Do you think I should buy a 1970 Dodge Charger 500 when I grow up?
That Two Stroke engine sounds bitchin!!!
trunk gap is off on left side
