Trainspotting (BG) - Mixed train on the narrow gauge railway

Diesel locomotive 75 008, made by "Henschel" - Kassel in the far 1965, captured at many places on the Rhodope narrow gauge railway while leading a special mixed train. In August 2021 BDZ offered to the railway enthusiasts to travel with a special mixed train from Septemvri to Avramovo. Despite the much higher price than the regular tickets, still there were people which decided to go on a trip through the Rhodope mountains and to visit the highest railway station at the Balkans - Avramovo.

Brilliant Video thank you so much from the UK. I have travelled on these trains and hope to come back again We stayed near Razlog . My daughter and her husband have an apartment Just off the road to Bansko.

If i'm correct, one locomotive for this line is rebuild as we speak in Ruse factory - Express Service OOD

Yes, there is a locomotive for rebuilding in Ruse, but it is class 77.

I believe years and years ago. There's no real need for it anymore, its mostly an attraction for tourists and it is unknown how much time we have left to enjoy it, since there are just a few locomotives left and the manufacturer has been gone for more than 15 years now.
