The Philippine Constitution already prohibits Political Dynasty but NOBODY is following the Constitution. Probably that is why this Administration is endorsing the change of Philippine Constitution under the pretext of economic progress but really for their own self benefit and gain. And many NAIVE filipinos are endorsing it. A big NO to cha cha.
the propose chacha will just create confusion, different interpretations, and malicious misreadings. The insertion of the words " Unless and otherwise words" would fell into different interpretations. Not to mention that congressmen are notorious for insertion. The constitution change is anti poor because only the rich crony business investor will benefit and absolutely will push the poor to more poverty. The economic concern should be address by government supporting local filipino to own and develop business just like in south korea. That before they venture to international market the koreans made sure that they have become stable in their respective industry. The Philippines already have the most liberal law when it comes to foreign investment. There is no need for constitution change. The problem is the bureaucracy which is the system of administration marked by officialism, red tape, and proliferation. Also the recent POGO raid demonstrate how dangerous it was to allow foreign entity like in this example the chinese were abusing filipino and have to be rescued . That is why the cha cha/ charter change should NEVER be implemented because it promotes 100% foreign ownership in the Philippines. It will result in the influx of undesirable Chinese who will own part of the country and will slave filipinos just like in the latest raid in POGO where filipinos were being slave by chinese and were rescued. Political dynasties are a form of monopoly. No competition. Business monopoly is not good for consumers. During the time of Marcos Sr, PAL, then the airline monopoly, was known as Plane Always Late. With political monopolies, it's worst.
Better fix the justice system also. Mas mabibigat na parusa para sa mga taong nakaupo at mas malawak na pagbawi ng ari arian sa mga napatunayan na may ginawang mali (corruption or any related na nakapagpayaman sa kanila) i am not pertaining to Marcos. Dahil may mga mayors and brgy captains na yumaman dahil inabuso yung kapangyarihan at sa pag issue ng business permits (just 1 example)
