Born & Raised on 9 mile just outside Detroit, best childhood EVER! It was the 60's when things were safe in that area! Peace & Love to all you City Dwellers from Ex Michigander in Northern Arizona 4 EVER NOW! 😁
I've never seen anyone did any content or video in 8mile or the trailer park neither.....thank you for this short film!!! 🇧🇿👏👍
Its soshomboqlina ala barar content.
That ain't DETROIT motor hone city I'm talking Tomas hit man Hearns ERA that's what I'm talking about bborn and bred in Detroit family DETROIT everyone in Boston and DETROIT never seen them 8mike bullshit WE IN BRIXTON DYING SLOWLY
Too bad Chris , you didn't visit some of the neighborhoods inside Detroit. The trailer park you were in is Warren, MI. 8 mile Road is the northern border of Detroit. Next time you come to Detroit, you should visit some places inside Detroit, maybe starting with Motown , or just driving some of the other parts!!!
I'm with you, this time I was very limited for time. I'll be back and explore Detroit properly very soon.
Make a run through Toledo, my nearest city. It's been called little Detroit for over a century; and for good reason. Lots of real, real bad areas. I avoid it like the plague.@ChrisMustList
@@ChrisMustList look me up I’ll take you the dla area
He did. He went to Dresden.
@@danielleguastella5736 Where is Dresden???
Chris Must List... When I hear Detroit I think "MOTOWN"!!!!!!
Yes I agree with you there.
Bro you were in warren mi in the trailer park where the movie was filmed at. My step dad owns a flea market right down the strreet from there. You need to go south of 8 mile to be in detroit to get some real shots of the hood. Next time stop by the market, opened only on fri from 4pm to 9pm sat and sun from 10am to 6pm. Youll get some good info on places where to go from the people in there!
My goal was this video was never to film the real detroit hood. This was an eminem video. Thanks for watching!
Saw slim shady in concert a few times. One of his concerts he actually had a replica of his 8 mile house on stage.
As a fellow Metro Detroiter I'm very happy you chose to do a story on this, I now live in Commerce Township just outside of Detroit and actually just recently ate at a restaurant next to Kon-Artists Eminem's best friend and also member of D12 😎👍 Dude I'm also more excited that your meeting Fearless and Far.. wow what a journey you're on
i remember listening to 88.1 on Saturday mornings in toronto. it was local and new hip hop. i was working out and heard his first release. i couldnt beleive what i was hearing. rap needed him
This was cool! Eminem is still my favorite artist i listen too. Tons of us related to his home grown words. Some hit harder than others.❤
Lincoln high school was a decent school. They did a facelift in the 90s. They had woodshop, metal shop, drafting, auto shop, Olympic size swimming pool, and had an offsite building trades and students built houses. Really the school had everything when I was there in the 80s .
I was born raised in Detroit and those guys hanging out in the garage are typical Detroiters just hanging out catching a buzz and working on shit lol I miss home.
This is "Top Tier" vlogging bro! It was my dream to go here way before the pandemic happened, glad I get to see it! I''ll get there one day
God bless you
Now this guy is a legend and worth over 200 million.
Bribe em bucks will be
Worthless soon😩🤔🤷🏿♂️
As always, wonderful content Chris! You're such an inspiration.
Hey Chris. I’m in your premiere love. Blessings

Thank you for sharing your adventures with us Chris, on to the well deserved 1 Mil Subs!
Have a great day , Peace!
You should do a part two video Chris! I live in the area and would be happy to show you 3 more sots in the St. Clair Shores/Clinton Township area. Marshall lived next door to my close friend as a kid with his mom and baby brother Nathan. I could show you the Little Caesars Pizza he worked at and his home after the fame in a gated community in Clinton Township. Let me know!
33:22 Detroit is my hometown and when I moved one of the elements I missed were the people. They are the most genuine and chilled in the world. BTW, you need to do a video of the techno festival downtown in late may, it is a blast with people coming from around the world.
Mad love from Philly this whole city is a no go zone
Love to see yah back on the road Chris😊
Stay safe Chris! I discovered you through GIV. You are very adventurous and entertaining. . I wish you well. Stay safe out there. I've subscribed and look forward to your videos.
Welcome back Chris it’s Jose from Connecticut brother! Oh yeah back on traveling with great content be sure that I’ll follow every move u make . 💯 stay safe and be careful brother
Awesome title video idea 2 always wondered never saw a video on EMiNEM trailer park👍
Some say this trailer court isn't 8 mile ? Idk
A buddy of mine and me made this trip back in 2019. He was scared to death and wouldn’t stop and get out but we cruised around all the places you were in this video. Very cool to see where Em grew up and went to school. It was def a change of scenery from what us two East Tennessee boys were use to,lol!!
His best performance ever was in his hometown! Great content ❤
I was hoping you'd decide to go to Gilbert's to eat. Their food and service are still fantastic all these decades later. Many kids I went to high school with, had their first jobs at Gilbert's. I grew up a little further down 8 Mile than Eminem did. I'm also much older 😂 I'll be 70 in a few months & no longer live in the area. I moved up to Traverse City after my Dad retired and moved to this area. Then he got cancer, so I moved to be closer to him to help him. I had 3 children of my own by then.
Thanks for the 8 Mile/Eminem tour. Also for Gilbert's. It was wonderful seeing it again since I can no longer drive and won't be able to visit it again.
Safe Travels. I'm sooooo enjoying your videos. Thank You 🥰
BTW....If you get a chance to go to Gilbert's again, their pizza is phenomenal and just as good as their burgers !!!!
thank you very much for your comment, and I really enjoyed my short time at Gilberts it's a must see for anyone in the area. All the best!
I'm pretty much the same age as you Chris I grew up near Detroit and I have met Eminem while hanging out in Detroit at a body shop where he was having one of his cars done he is a very righteous down-to-earth guy easy to talk to
Thanks for sharing!
Anyone who lives in Michigan is well aware what 8 Mile is like. It’s been that way for decades
God keep u
Another awesome video Chris, thanks again for your work 😊
Thank you!
Actually he is 51
Marshall Bruce Mathers III (born October 17, 1972), known professionally as Eminem, is an American rapper. He is credited with popularizing hip hop in Middle America and is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.[3] His global success is considered to have broken racial barriers to the acceptance of white rappers in popular music. While much of his transgressive work during the late 1990s and early 2000s made him a controversial figure, he came to be a representation of popular angst of the American underclass and has been cited as an influence by and upon many artists working in various genres.
He is awesome just awesome
@@peggypasson8794 the kids loved him
Love the Video bro , awesome. His new stuff just evolved trust me as a lyricist now he is impeccable, top tier but, always was. 💯💯💯
Bless up Sir Chris great Content as always
I grew up in Warren, just outside of Detroit. I spent a lot of time in Shady Lanes Trailer Park. I know someone who still lives there.
I now live about 45 min away in Auburn Hills, near pontiac witch is a similar vibe to Detroit.
It blows my mind when people say eminems older stuff is way better. More aggressive, yes, but kamakazi, & mtbmb, are fkn incredible n his wordplay is on another level. I can't relate to anybody who sais his older stuff is way better. Its all great.
A lot of times nostalgia and memories connected to it just leaves some feeling the older stuff

I love all his music, but his new music is genius. Literally a genius.
I love all his music, but his new music is genius. Literally a genius.
I agree that his last 2 albums are the best things he has done since MMLP1. I'd say from Encore to Recovery it was corny and tired.
Love your videos ❤
21:54 Dang it, they should have preserved that house and made it a museum.
He could do it, and have it rebuilt.
@@acajudi100 he probably wanted the shit burned to the ground. Seriously.

That burger looks so delicious my mouth is watering. Thanks for showing us around Detroit and Eminem's old neighborhood.,
Gilbert's has good food and is a nice place to hang out.
I grew up in Detroit between 6 & 7 Mile Rd on Waltham St. back in 1979 or 1980 I briefly met the pre teen Marshall Mathers, we spoke for about 50 minutes, he was walking my neighborhood while his mom was trying to move in with some guy

The old comments got to be too much .
I grew up at 8 mile and I-94. I used to go to Gilberts where he was dishwasher. Not into this style of music, but nice to see my home town. Glad I moved out west though for sure.
Chris gives content that most people won’t or just flat out chicken. The Haiti really hit me man. So sad. Keep up the good word my man. Be safe

HEY CHRIS LOVE IT I LIVE IN WINDSOR ACROSS THE RIVER ..
Shoutout to all the garage bodyshops 🚗 🎨
😂😂😂 Tim the car guy told him go to Menjos. He said you'll love it there. Lmao.
I think you're probably right Tim on the corner. He definitely got a little sugar in his tank.
No sugar in my tank, happily married with a woman and children.
Chris, you go to all the hoods around the world and you're pretty much safe....would have been a damn shame to get shot by an old lady in the trailer park 😂. And you kept on being nosey around the park hahaha. It was honorable of you to have that shot with those guys....Traveling to Detroit myself, most people are cool and nice out there mien. Continue to stay safe on your Journey my brother. 🙌👊🇧🇿
Thank you for watching Mike. That little old lady was a handful, but added to my adventure.
Hahaha.....I bet she was!!
This video walking through the trailer park scared me more than the voodoo Haiti video
Cracked up when they told you to go to Menjos for lunch, all the guys will love you there 😂

Hi there, if you look up Australian country singer called Casey Chambers. She does Eminem’s loose yourself from 8mile. The version is live in Newcastle Au 2022. It’s long but guarantee you will go on a wild goose bump hit in the face ride. A real treat for everyone ❤
Being from Detroit, we get used to how it looks. I dont think twice driving down Seven Mile. I Love Detroit!
The 1st time I ever visited Detroit was in the late 90s and as soon as we exited 7 mile it looked like a worn torn country like Beruit. Cars were all burned out on the streets
Huge deep potholes
Graffiti everywhere
I'd never seen anything like it in my life
I was so shocked and ready to leave ASAP
You should see it now.. it's worse.
First time I saw this video- Liked it and subscribed. I read the subscription and washed dishes was in the description. That’s definitely not hard as I am still washing dishes due to totaled car 🚘-wheel steering air bag went off-sprained right wrist and hand 🤚. Trailers seen worse. Vietnam 🇻🇳 vet had a way worse trailer-newspaper for curtains-Toilet did not work correctly and small-super small. Very interesting video though. Thank you for sharing this. 💙🇺🇸 Vietnam 🇻🇳 vet had to kill. Vietnam 🇻🇳 vet has PSTD. He plays the guitar 🎸 though. The Vietnam 🇻🇳 vet lives near Michigan. Trailer park sucked. Omg 😆 I hope the little old lady in the trailer park does not have a gun.😂
Big up your self Chris hope you’re day is great love 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Lookin good, Chris😊
I'm from Colorado and moved to Indianapolis my 12th grade year. I went to two high schools both were big 2500 in both in school!
i went there and they added on to it my senior year. 2009 it was not that big before they added on.
I'm a 1978 graduate of Lincoln high School.
There's 3 schools on the same block so it's not all the high school.
It's been redone and honestly the cops are there every school day.
It's bad .
Of course it was not like that in the 70's .
I lived at 10 mile and Hoover till I married in 1980 .
It was nice viewing the video
Enjoyed your video, you Looked younger with out your glasses, when you were eating that hamburger🥹👍
The burger looked good af!!
Glad to see you back. No, my high school is in South Texas and it's not that big. I mean it's not two stories high
\m/ Great Video!
Hitting the hoods of Detroit this Sunday, my name Chris too
Am from Jamaica. My high school was big but not as big as that
22:00 aww, imagine. a little baby GOAT Em playing around there 😂
Don't be sleeping on his new stuff, Godzilla, Fall, Darkness, You Gon' Learn, etc
