  • Video on how to replace your raw water water pump impeller.
    Original PN 21212794 but I replaced for an non OEM Impeller that works great with very good quality.
    I got this from Amazon. Look for Volvo Penta OMC part numbers 3588914, 3584350, 21213664, 3593660, 2123664 & 3841696.

    Nice maintenance videos on this engine. You have a new subscriber. I have 3.0 GLP-C. I think i have some dripping coming from there. Do you know if i change the impeller and the o-ring will fix it or it has to be the whole pump. Thanks.

      I dont think you need a full new pump, and it drips just a little that is not a problem, just make sure your bilge is working.

      My engine cover has a label/sticker on it that has parts for impeller, oil filter, fuel filter, etc.

    what is the name of this part What is the name of this part where the water from outside arrives and is distributed to the impeller and a power stree oil hose is connected

      I have not, I guess it was small pieces and went through the pipes.

      If you have a closed cooling system, check at the heat exchanger honeycomb to fish out the broken vanes of the old impeller

      It is also good to add some marine grease in the impeller housing to get better life out of impeller.

      My boat is 2008 impeller PN Volvo Penta OMC part numbers 3588914, 3584350, 21213664, 3593660, 2123664 & 3841696.

      PN on the original part is 21212794. But it is hard to find and way more expensive. The alternatives are the one I answered earlier.

    Where's the broken fin?

      I think it is gone for good, normally small pieces and it get out thought to exhaust system on the water discharge port, not sure if that is what happened but it could also be stuck inside the manifold.
