He's genuinely like that too. When I met him in Honolulu, he just wanted to talk about me. Before going backstage, I had _explicitly_ told my GF not to point out my Incubus tattoos to Brandon - because she kept saying "Are you gonna show him your Incubus ink??". Lol I explained that a TON of Incubus fans have Incubus tattoos, so Brandon is definitely not going to care about seeing mine. He's seen thousands of them. So.. as soon as we walk up to Brandon, my chick grabs my arm and says "Brandon, look at his tattoo!". Brandon does _exactly_ what I knew he would - he glanced at it and said "Oh, cool man..". He was totally polite, but _clearly_ did not give a single shit. I was mortified. I looked over at my girl like "I FUGGIN' TOLD U SOOOOO!!!" Lmfao
Just then, he did a double take and grabbed my wrist as he put his pointer finger on my tattoo.
He said "Oh shit!! That's rad! I haven't seen that design since I was 18! How did you find that??"

Our whole conversation was just him asking questions about Hawaii, tattoos, and my band. He was obsessed with this funny cat t-shirt I was wearing and he and my GF talked about how much they love Sphynx cats. Every single one of those guys were so nice and down to earth. Incubus is pretty much my favorite band and Mike was a HUGE inspiration for my own guitar playing. ..but they were such genuinely nice guys that it just felt like hanging out with old high school friends. I wasn't the least bit nervous or starstruck. I was even (jokingly) talking mad shit to Ben about his CZcams videos and he thought it was hilarious. He and Jose were laughing their asses off.
Love those guys so much!! They're the exact opposite of the saying "Don't meet your heroes because they'll disappoint you."

Is it just me, or when she says, "stalkers, don't give up!", does he seem to be, like, "heh, please stop this...*more nervous laughter*"? I think people really underestimate the weirdness that strangers can lop onto you if you possess any amount of notoriety. Also, thank god he seems to give a shit about minors being in sketchy situations. Gives me some hope for humanity; Many a creepy band member has gotten away with the opposite, so I'm happy to see more evidence that he's ethically admirable.

I never listened to a PodCast before I came across Worst Firsts on Spotify- I remember seeing a little expose about you on tv and forgot to write down your name. I don’t remember shat if I don’t write it down. My apartment walls are made of a million post its. Anyyyywayyyy I had a good ass time in my pajamas with my dog binging on Worst Firsts. Feels like I had a night out with friends shooting the shit after - mad respect for being real AF. The products you shout out on the breaks always end up on a stickie note too. It’s my favorite thing when life reminds me its not all stale shits and fakery. Keep this shit up- I need it!

I seen incubus in 2010... We were so stoned and it was 1 of my favorite concerts.. I really wish i could have seen Incubus before Dirk Lance left(he is 1 of my favorite bassists) but by far a badass show...
Hands down real artists like incubus put out amazing live energy. Real artists live sound like they do on the album only better!

I am not trying to be disrespectful but who is the one doing the interview and who is the guest speaker? After a little a bit over the 1/2 marker in this interview and I have listened to Brittany do all the talking. I stopped this video because all I can see is a girl behind something covering her face. Tonight all I could remember was Brandon in a interview session and once I tried to reload it all I could remember from last night was her 16 year old very drunk friend urinating herself as they were trying to get backstage to see the band Incubus. A story filled with words that I thought was well, unflattering. Such as F*$& and Brandon sitting there being silent.
Well done Brandon! I must say if this was me I would have gotten up and kicked rocks. No! He sat there unmoved it was hard to see any reaction from him. Bravo! I am very impressed with Brandon as he was very polite, patient, and classy. All impressive attributes in a man or woman. I have a ton of respect for Brandon. Now even more so if that is possible.
So what is the point here. I love Incubus. I learned about Incubus from a friend who became my MEXICO relationship match and have been so impressed hearing songs like Warning, Dig, Drive, 11 am, and his solo project with Pocket Knife, Run Away Train, Come Together, Company of Wolves, there are so many more. He digs deep and has a creative delivery. An inspiration in the music world for sure and Mike and his guitar? They are all very respectful and educated young men. Very deserving of presentation that reflects the qualities the band in a positive manner.

I got a backstage story lol 2007 in Boston . They did a show in nh week before but Boston wbcn i jumped the fence and snuck back stage and bumped into the basssit form the band the "bravery" he was skateboarding and i aksed wheres incubus and he was like ahh? Amd i walked on deff had that confident walk they mentioned you have too and then.. DUn DUN DUN. I made it to the tour buses and one dude heavy set with long hair was getting on one of the buses that i later saw on "look alive" DVD he was deff one of their roadies and i said HEY! IS INCUBUS IN THERE?! AND the dude goes "maybe,, who are you?!" And i told him my name and said tell incubus i said hi" and he was like sarcastically "suure" then go rushed by security and thrown out of the show! Luckily when i showed up at the show so early thaf there was no security at the fence so i had a fresh ticket in my pocket. So of course i got back in and got rushed again. Lol but they left me alone and the show went on. But..just last year aug 11th Hampton nh casino ball room my 11th incubus show i bumped in to dj kilmore!! he was playn skii ball in the arcades next door to the show and got a pic with him. MEMORIES. Gotta love INCUBUS)))
