It's wash-out color hairspray. I use it sometimes, just for fun. It doesn't damage your hair at all if you use it right. You can get it at Wallmart, or sometimes craft stores have it. : )
Its washs out and wont damage your hair at all unless its like really light blonde like mine, then it will leave your hair stained and will be much harder/nearly impossible to get it out completely.

I have had one of those sprays before in purple. From my perspective, the spray leaves parts of your hair stuck together a bit and if you were to sleep with it on or something, a bit of the color can get on your pillows. It is very temporary and easy to wash out. Those are one of those quick/go to party hair coloring. I think the graffiti artist did a good job and the woman with the blue hair looked best in my personal opinion.
That is not graffiti. Graffiti's main subject is words. This is art, not graffiti

This is one of the coolest Buzzfeed videos I've seen. Its such a simple idea yet I never thought of it before. I definitely think it works better for people with short hair that roughly stays in place most of the day, but we should totally utilize this for photo shoots and runway shows where hair is already held in place with hairspray

lol I noticed that too. Whenever I'm spray painting something outside I always have a few bugs fly to whatever I'm painting and they get stuck on the surface because of the paint and it's so annoying having to pick them off haha

It looks cool but I can't help wondering how good it looks if you're actually walking around, because to keep the design it looks like it has to be hairsprayed into an unmoving chunk. So for pictures it's an interesting idea :) I like how it looks. It's too bad it looks like it wouldn't function on a regular basis. BUT the lady with the super short hair, it looks sooooo cool on her and also wouldn't have the trouble of it looking really stiff. That is such a neat idea for anyone with cropped hair.

I'm not usually into crayon-colored hair styles, but I really like this. I can see it devolving into trashy fast, but I really like her designs and could see it getting even more sophisticated and artistic. I'd totally do this, and I've never colored my hair.

They use lighter colors, like yellow or orange
... use, brighter colours? Who knows, maybe black hair can actually contrast the colours better.
You can probably use metallic colors like gold and silver

Its a shame I cant do this because it will stain my hair. My hair is naturally light blonde and even though that stuff is meant to wash out, it only works on darker hair. It even says on the can that it will stain light hair so if your hair is like mine, dont try it. Such a shame because it looks awesome
Ugh I have the same problem. One time I tried using extra temporary hair color and I still have stains in my hair.
Maybe instead of using the coloured hairspray, you could use the glitter hairspray? You might not be able to do something as intricate as the flowers, but geometric shapes and simple stuff should still work!

anything can become art. you can draw intricately on your lips or eyelids and now even spray your hair and turn it into a canvas. there is no limitation to art and that is the perfect way to live.. with art in any of its forms

This is actually the best fashion craze of the 21st century that I've seen.
I have been dying my hair blue, green, pink and so on for over twenty years now. I've done rainbow and fade I to other colours but I've been really wanting to try the patterns and stencils for about five years now. I want to do it with the semi permanent colours but I can never find someone to help. It's fun to see your hair ideas; I just wish they weren't spray on colors.
