Was at the game the Blues forward pack was subpar compared to when they step up against other Kiwi teams. Havng said that the Reds did well with the youth and late changes. For mine Harry Wilson was the best on the park from both teams, just always working...

So the refs allow forward passes tries and knockon tries to make it at least look close.... Pffft...like its a competition.

It not a knock on, Jesus, learn the laws of the game before you start bitching. And there is no way to actually tell if that was a forward pass or not because you can’t see the ball between the two players on the replay, unless you have X-ray vision, we’ll do you?

@@keza41 I’m a Reds supporter. But that was terrible refereeing. From the camera angle you would have seen the ball if the pass was backwards. The camera space between Pasami and Wilson only disappeared when Wilson was in front of Pasami. It was a forward pass. I’m glad the Reds got the bonus point, but it was lucky.

I’ll tell you what’s a good indicator of a forward pass, 1. it’s when all the opposition players around the ball start throwing their hands up in the air motioning to the ref it was forward. 2. players yelling at the ref it was forward. 3. Conclusive evidence on the replay it was forward. As not one of those things happened, that tells me, it wasn’t forward. Unless you had a better view than the ref and all the players in the immediate vicinity, I’d say you’re assessment that is was forward is in fact. Wrong.

New Zealand Rugby is amazing but I'd bet if you want to improve as a side then you would want to play these teams weekly. Especially a test match. Most other international teams don't play at this level week in week out, so when the AB's come to town they hit you with a tempo and a skill level which is shocking to the system surely.

I think someone has forced these Aussie players to play rugby and coaches to coach them. if they have a real intention to play better rugby they have the resources to achieve the required standard to do just that that within a week. it is not a bout the quality of the players it is about their commitment. until Aussies commit themselves to the game there will be no competition and that is the gulf between Aus and NZ teams.the biggest example is the way Paenga Amosa played. He threw wild passes at the line out, gave away silly penalties and earned a yellow card but still could not see any remorse or regret on his face nor did he try to rectify those errors he just kept playing the way he wanted. I think the problem is in the attitudes of these players.
