Even at this age, you could see he had it all. NZ feeder schools produce some proud and very good rugby players. Always nice to see!
its strange because even at this level he was pretty skinny for his age, yet still very powerful in contact.
I guess it's just about speed and balance.
The quality of these NZ schoolboys is ridiculous. The 2nd try, the 10 picks the ball off his laces and the 8 finishes like a wing, the 3rd try the TH instantly hits the wide men like it's nothing. No wonder the 'Blacks are so strong; the well of talent is so deep
Josh McKay (Glasgow Warriors) and Jesse Houston (NZ Sevens, I think)
That kid Jordan looks pretty good. With some practice, he might do well in the future.
This is old he's already playing for all blacks
@@olivettiahhim9847 he’s joking 😅
@@olivettiahhim9847 its a joke
I think he might struggle at the next level.
@@olivettiahhim9847 I hope your joking
Wow Josh McKay in there aswell , that 10&15 duo would’ve been deadly
True! Hope Razor try that 10-15 combination nxt yr super rugby pasifika whenever Richie rest.
Yeah, big running number 10 with a good pass, boot and vision. Where's he playing these days?
@@apexit1 Canterbury
@@apexit1 started with Canterbury then into the highlanders for 2 years before the saders this year now hes off to Glasgow for 2 years
@@clarkiekid8874 wow when did he sign there? Good for him
Even tho he's a wing for the AB's, He still plays like a fb with his support lines. Compare him to bridge in the last game vs USA and you can see the difference. Every line break and Will was in support or thereabouts..
Nah bridge gets no ball at all. He would as many tried if ball was spun out his more often
@@shaneunuwai4035 you can’t always have to wait for the ball sometimes you gotta be hungry and go look for the ball you know..
@Squigy Diamond Bridge is a talented player, but I'd like to see him get more involved. Will is setting the standard.
I noticed that too. When you score 104 points you'd think your left wing might have at least one of those. Poor guy is just out of form. Braydon Ennor looked like a better left wing for the 20 minutes he played there...
Saw Bridges class v SA in the first test. Spoilt with front foot ball at the Crusaders he's become too used to tripping over the try-line. Steps up into 'black' and when there's parity in possession and go-forward coupled with score-board pressure, he can implode. The insight? He hasn't been put under that pressure regularly enough at Super. Victim of his own success.
first haka had my timbers shivered 😵💫
No wonder the ABs keep introducing extremely talented blokes more often than not. Seeing this I could simply extrapolate the overall quality of schoolboy level rugby in NZ.
Same for us in SA
From here to possibly becoming the greatest World Cup tournament try scorer of ALL TIME. Will Jordan.
Fuckin Mounga...
I love watching your school rugby. So good. This young man will play for your All Blacks sides one day.
He already does?
bro tryna make a prediction of what's already true 😂😂😂
Super-fast, gliding runner with a forward lean who's incredibly slippery and can cut at speed? You sure this isn't Christian Cullen's son?
@Gordon Wright - Agreed! Cullen was an absolute legend and there's a lot of similarity between his play and Jordan's!
More resembles Ben Smith imo
Like the teeth of a great white is ABs rugby- when one retires- another one takes his place
love how grass roots rugby is not just a display of rugby finesse but also the diversity of haka and respecting the cultural heritage of NZ
His solo try against wales was incredible
Christ college had me shivering in my boots with that fierce haka
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
pity they weren't fierce enough not to get demolished 80-0 lol
Awesome player Will Jordan👏👏
This is so tense,u gotta love new Zealand school boy action
An 80-0 pasting. Not much tension there mate
Such authentic haka performed in the South Island....
Best haka I’ve seen hands down 🥴
Got some talent this guy
Future world player of the year.
That first haka was hilarious 😂
It was in fact the _hokey-pokey_ haka.
I love school boy rugby
More of these plzzz
Jordon another Carter.. awsome running skills, ball handling skills, he will go a long way ..
You can see by the clips he’s great at defending
Ben Smith Style of playing
Go forward don't look to pass ....always good advice
Wow. My school had one of the top 3 varsity rugby teams in our provice (Ontario Canada) and these lads would have put up 100 on us.
what school?
I was gutted when Ben Smith retired... then his 2.0 came along 👏👏
Heheh. Ben Smith From Accounting 2.0.
Ben smith was awesome 👏
Smith is still my favourite rugby player. Both Jordan and a young English FB/winger by the name of Henry Arundell remind me of Smith for sure. Pace-y, intelligent players that have winger pace and fullback awareness.
@@joeboonmusic4004 Yeah been watching Henry Arundell closely this year, was gutted he wasn't given a start for England. A star of the future for sure and Will Jordan just keeps on performing!!
Christchurch boys high haka was badass
Is that all there is? I was enjoying that and then it’s over in a few minutes!
I work with this guy on a construction site top bloke. Never knew he played 🏉
Didn't know you were an AB
And now, a WC winner. Well done to him and his brilliant tournament.
no he isnt ahahahahahaahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahahahahahahahaha
@@thethreeeamibros the match is there for you to analyze yourself. Savea (1st half pilfer), Taylor (2nd half pilfer), and Colby (2nd half not rolling away) = 9pt reversal to the trained and objective eye. I take it your not objective or motivated by truth? What's your argument?
yapper@@Fukafukafufu
You have got to feel sorry for Josh McKay. He's had a pro career too!
The other teams inability to tackle 1 on 1 is funny
Now he is going to play a RWC final today.that's success 🔥❤
I reckon Jordan will make a WC final one day! Bet money on it. Could even be the star of the cup.
Eddington 14# for Christchurch was great this game
First time I have seen 2 haka's intresting, school rugby is why RSA and NZ keep producing winning teams
Yer hes still got it. Aware of were to be great player. Cheers
I’m 13 and I’m really good at rugby, I’ve been picking for a trial for a professional team and I want to be a rugby player when I’m older, I really want to play rugby in New Zealand or South Africa cause it’s so good out there
What country are you from?? School rugby is different in NZ I remember a German U18 representative came to play rugby for my high-school and we had high expectations. He ended up being very average, and that's being kind.
this kid is gonna be in the All Blacks very soon.
This comment aged beautifully
oldest schoolboy match in the country. A well maintained tradition indeed.
wrong
@@williammccone1733 thanks for that really well thought out response. 💩
i know will jordan but are any of those other boys playing super rugby now. on another factor its amazing how these future internationals stick out at that level. i remember being 2 years ahead of denis leamy at school but even when he was 15 you could see he was head and shoulders above everyone (literally and figuratively) and was destined to go on to much bigger things
Josh Mckay, Christchurch Boys #10 played for the Highlanders, Crusaders and is now in Scotland with Glasgow Warriors
Jesse Houston was in the NZ Sevens
Gob smacked at intensity of school. Rugby' in new Zealand to the world it's a game to you guys it's your life force
Nothing has changed-a class player.
I think everyone may have been unstoppable at 80-0 lol
He’s going to be the greatest all black of all time. You heard it here first
Try 4 for Jordan was the third one shown in this video.
Did a tour of nz in 2017 with hunter wildfires beat Christchurch boys high 45-12 with a team who played 1 game together
2:10 I cant bro😂
Are we all just going to ignore the pace on that number 8? ⚡
I wonder if he’s a pro now.
NZ Sevens, Jesse Houston
I make a prediction : I predict he will start a successful career with the AB after this match! 🤪🤪
don’t know anything about new sealand football but from the little dance they did at the start could tell the blue lads were gonna win
Came here after his Try against Wales
CBHS💪💪💪
I wish I went to a school where the rugby was taken seriously
Now the best scorer in World Cup
man this is cool as fuck, i wish i played this growing up
Great talent, a bit greedy. Needs to practise taking high ball. Should be in the AB mix for a while.
2nd haka was so much more powerful.
He has the tuivasa shek step
those haka's though 👀😅
He looks like Bugha lmao
Should of seen Sam Monaghan at Wairarapa College. 90m tries, chip kicks, pace . #10
Who?
at 2:52 the 1 shirt brain just burst
after I had to suffer through the dance routine it was a fine display of tackling
lmao
Ohh!!!you poor uneducated child.Really??
Hopefully he will pass to his outsides instead of going alone like he did in one of the attacks.
Yeah - I noticed it too. He blew opportunities for a odds on try had he just have passed it.
2 yrs later after RWC top tri scorer
Christ College, for context, is a very elite private school in Christchurch. Christchurch Boys is a public school and an absolute rugby factory. Beautiful campus as well. If we had stayed in NZ I would love for my son to there. Unfortunately NZ was just too far and too expensive. Great memories from there
Long before he met Cheslin 😊
Lol at the hakas
that haka tho...lol
80 NIL???? MY WORD!!
Makes me think of Christian Cullen.
jordan had to go to George Bridge wing to make shit happen on saturday
any one know the final score of this match?
like 80-5 or something
@@bigmikey8161 80-0 actually big mike
its sad how foster doesn't rate to start him against the big gun teams
Perhaps I am ignorant for not thinking so, with this skill, he can play against anyone. Look at Faf de Klerk for SA and even Cheslin Kolbe, size is not an issue it's in the heart! Love AB rugby... the finest there is!
Thought he started against the boks and wallabies
He’s 23 with 10 caps already give him time he doesn’t need to play every match whilst he’s developing. He’s scoring 7.5 points on average per game for the all blacks whilst competing with Bridge, Reece, Barrett, Mackenzie sometimes mo’unga and another Barrett… if he stays playing until he’s 30 he’ll be on 80+ caps 32 and he’ll be 100
that #3 prop was making dimes all game
great talent, but those missed tackles.... not so sure he would have looked that good against Grey College or Paarl Boys.
the All Blacks will nurture that talent and he'll be formidable player, like all great talents, seems to have more time than others
Christchurch boys high beat Paarl boys on full time in 2017 when they came to nz
This was actually a team consisting of relatively small players at the time. The players in Auckland and Hamilton teams were bigger.
competing Hakas are awesome!
The guys in blue, their Haka is way superior
Nice player but what would he be able to do against the likes of Grey College
The new Ben smith
2:30 it starts
0:00 it starts
Thanks, skip all that hua shit
Fly half has some guns for a school boy
the acceleration at 4:00 is just pure filth
@@mardybumrocky your genes are disgusting
And then he butchered a near certain try by not passing.
Nice to see a rugby match in NZ that wasn’t won by foul play.
Those Christ’s boys shouldn’t be too worried grown men can’t tackle him either
Nice to see that it's not only Ireland that is full of elite, private schools, churning out rugby players. Well done indeed.
Ireland Copied NZ grassroots wtf you mean G?
CBHS (Jordan's school) isn't private
Ireland is full of elite, private schools?
@@rorybessell8280 Really? According to the website, it's $16,200 a year for international students plus $2,000 for the rugby programme. Probably still cheaper than the equivalents in Ireland though.
@@greattobeadub Yeah it's always expensive for international students as they're not covered by taxes. It's still a state school
He's pretty good. Might be good enough for super rugby if he continues to improve.
Nah, he'll be better of going overseas, he has no chance in nz
Ended on a cricket score.
Rugby starts at 2:30
these guys are the same size as like a average South African u14A team
This is like watching Tom Trbojevic in the NRL. He bursts tackles the same kinda way.
Title says will jordan can't be stopped then we watch him get tackled
Why did only some of them wear caps?
cos those are the experience player
@@RugbyPass You have to play a certain number of game in order to get your cap at 1stXV level
@@tongalisf7031 Thanks for correcting us!
Good player back in his school days clearly, but when ur playing a team that literally can’t make a tackle to save their life it’s not that hard to get a few good runs in being an outside back. I bet the wingers and other backs all had a field day in this game
It was in the papers. Him, McKay (10) and Houston (8) were standouts. McKay now plays at Glasgow Warriors and Houston was in the All Blacks Sevens for a bit. The Christ's College team actually had players who are also professional now e.g. Ngani Punivai. As for the UC championship, it's competitive, though I think this team failed to get into the Siper 8 alongside Hamilton Boys, the big Auckland teams etc.
Jordan's lateral running and ability to run a line with good hand-eye coordination before actually catching a ball - catching it on any angle or height - makes him extremely difficult to tackle; not to mention, he's bigger than e.g. Anthony Watson and he's probably faster too.
If they feed this skinny boy, he may become a good player when he's grown up 😂
Title misleading
At 4:09 he was stopped
only if NZ rugby league did the same thing as NZ rugby and leave our players here. Warriors would've been like the ABs..
They televise school rugby in NZ?! Wow, there really must be nothing going on.......
Or maybe, possibly, most likely it's because school rugby in New Zealand is just that damn good to be televised whereas other places schoolboy rugby are shitty honestly
@@narelle1788 Also televised in South Africa
