  • The Ducan 30 is a super lightweight (920g!), feature-packed rucksack which can either be used as a daypack or an overnight pack for minimalist adventures. Despite its lightweight nature, it does not compromise on comfort, stability and features.

    Great video yet again Paul, thank you. Every time I research any kit, Trekitt become my ‘go to’ for solid and impartial advice. And then I end up buying from you because you’re so competitive on price.
    Just about to order one of these now.
    Thanks again.

      What are your thoughts in comparison to the Duncan spine 28-35? Worth the upgrade?

      Thanks Alan, it was good to be back filming again after lockdown. The Ducan is such a good bag too, but watch out for the upcoming review of the Ducan Spine.

    Great review, really helped me make up my mind. I'm going to buy a pack from your website off the back of it.
    I'd love to see you review your kit of choice.

    Ducan 30 arrived from Trekitt just a couple of days after ordering. First thoughts are that it looks and feels great, both on and off. Looking forward to putting to the test in the Alps next month.

    I recently got this pack and absolutely LOVE it. I'm hoping the elastic chest strap system will last. I've only worn it for about 30 miles but it seems good so far.

      It's good to hear that you're lovin' the Ducan and I'm sure that the sternum strap will last well. Thanks for watching. Paul.

    Please do a review on day sacs, you don't see many lightweight pacs in outdoor shops anymore.

      HI, thanks for watching and for your comments. We'd consider the Ducan 30 to be a lightweight day pack, but please feel free to check out our range of day-sacks here - www.trekitt.co.uk/rucksacks/technical-packs/31-40l

    Great review, thank you! Quick question...Do the hip flaps stowe away somehow if you wanted to travel with it or fly with it and minimize the flaps hanging around?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před rokem +2

      You might be able to wrap the hipbelt backwards around the back and connect the buckle, but it wouldn't necessarily keep it safe during transit. Probably best investing in a luggage cover.

    I love your sport apparel descriptions, very very professional. Can I ak you if this backpack has the same orange cable on the bottom as the DUCAN SPINE? Thank you! 🙂

    Great video thank you! Do you think this kind of pack would be suitable for long-distance hiking, e.g. walking the Camino de Santiago? Thanks!

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před rokem

      It will as long as you can get your stuff in it. Capacity wise it depends if you're carrying tent, sleeping bag, cooking equip etc or using facilities.

    Hi Paul, What the size of Ducan 30? M or L ?
    I am 5ft 9" does it fit with Ducan 30?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před rokem

      As far as I'm aware (at least here in the UK), it's only available in one size which has a back length of 48.5cm.

    With those shoulder straps placed 'at an angle' the pack may be less comfortable -for obvious reasons- for women, isn't it?

      There is a woman version. I got that one (Iam a man) there is not mutch diffrenren except the shoulder straps are a little smaller and I thing the back length is a bit shorter.
      *I am small and like to wear my backpacks high on my back to keep clear access to my gear loops while climbing
      Edit: it also is lacking the little mesh pockets at the front of the shoulder straps

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 3 lety

      That may be the case, but Mammut make a female specific version. Thanks for watching. Paul
