Thanks man I couldn’t find a simple guide like this
No problem! Let me know if you have any questions. I’m really happy with it. Started iRacing and that extra control is even better there.
Great video! I think I will give these a try. I was going to get the ones from 3DRAP which cost significantly more.
Thanks! Yea I’ve been using it for a while and even started on iRacing really happy with the mod. So much better for modulating braking.
Just bought all the versions with different colors and hardnesses from AliExpress for 15$
Thanks for the video, I'll report back in about 4 months when they arrive haha.
haha yea good luck with that, I can't imagine going softer I feel the pedal would flat out but stiffer I wouldn't mind trying. Let me know what you think!
So u actually still need to buy the Fanatec Load Cell pedal????? Or can you do this with the base 2 pedal set without buying the load cell pedal ?
No this would require the load cell. The regular brake just uses that spongy resistor shown in the video.
These 2 little plastic at 7:46 did fly away just as you said but when mounting it back how should they be plugged? Installing it back is much harder then removing.
The should just slide over with the wider part going toward the pedal. Helps to slide two fingers up the middle and compres the spring when sliding back into its little channel on the pedal. Just be careful not to get pinched. Hope this helps!
@@RyCamN7 with 1 spring it is still travelling too narrow, instead of 1 spring did you try 2 blue springs? I am thinking to buy 1 more if it is more effective
I never tried 2 as 1 seemed to work for me. I think I was worried it would bottom out with 2.
Did you do any throttle mod at all? would love to know if you did
I did not. I know they have some but just not sure it would make a difference like the brake one. Maybe I’ll try one just to see.
Did you recalibrate after install?
I did in the game but not in the Fanatec app. Just made sure it looked good in iRacing and GT7, was pretty seamless just needed to adjust where 100% was.
