    So yeah, Bristol 1350 is a good time, but its also quite simple and needs a higher player count to be at its best. Very group dependant as well. But if the game hums, its a quality time.

    I love this whole series of games! Great review, as always. Especially the bit at the end!

    So glad you finally got to this and enjoyed it too! I have never been sick playing the game, but I am on the tail end of a cold right now, so...

    9 players! This looks fun and I love the theme.

    My friends and I love this game. It is silly fun rolling out of town.

    This seems like a great chaos generator for large groups of players. I don't think I'd want to own it, but if it was at my local game café, it'd likely enter regular play for visits, alongside But Wait! There's More! and Tsuro.

      Chaos generator is exactly it.

    1-9 players is a pretty big red flag that the designer didn't want to exclude anyone but no game can be good for that wide of a range of players

      I think 4+ is where its at.
      But you have to have a solo mode these days or a certain vocal minority loses their marbles.

      @@3MBG Regarding why solo modes are made, I don't think your conclusion is true at all-including a solo mode makes it more marketable, to people who otherwise might not buy the game. Companies want to sell their product; I think it makes more sense to attribute their marketing strategies to that rather than try to blame a stereotype of a gamer sub-genre.

      Its a bit of both. I have spoken to multiple publishers who have been abused online for not having solo modes on their campaigns. So yes, there definitely is more solo gaming happening, which is great and i've long been an advocate of it. But I know for a fact that some publishers feel bullied into including solo modes when they really don't have any good ideas for them.

      Those companies are appeasing that vocal minority when they really shouldn't - it's okay to just not try to please everyone.

      Hahaha, yes, yes i was. Thankfully it was just a mild cold and not the rona or the mystery virus i had at the start of the year.

    Have you played blood on the clocktower? If so, do you plan on ever reviewing it?

    • @3MBG
      @3MBG  Před rokem +2

      No, and probably not. It's both very expensive, had plenty of attention already, and very difficult for me to test due to its high player count numbers and play time. Also, our channel is stop motion photography and not showing people, so im not sure its a good fit.

    Did you say it can be a party game or a good game?

    • @3MBG
      @3MBG  Před rokem

      Yep. I don't do party games, party games are not my jam at all. It's why you never see them on the channel.

    This game is too fast, my players dont like this game, cuz they were just moving forward, all healthy. They didnt spread plague. Idk, i think we should not move on rats symbols or something.
