I just wanted to say, because of Cliffe Knechtle and his son Stuart Knechtle, I was able to journey back to God. I was lost for a while, but God placed Cliffe in my path, I didn't ask for these videos, until they continued to pop up until eventually I started listening. I love everytime he debates as he states when he doesn't know. And not knowing is ok. It's better than painting a facade or a false doctrine. Without getting to lengthy. Just Thank You Cliffe Knechtle!! Thank You Stuart Knechtle!!
Amazing story Cliffe is helping so many people!
Same! I give glory to God working through Cliffe because he hooked me and reeled me back.
I was THERE THAT DAY !!!!!! No atheist can say it’s not an honor to meet him cus as a Christian I was more than honored
God continues to use Cliffe as his microphone and it’s so gracious to see.
The Holy Spirit has used this man to help me so much. I am so grateful to Cliffe for helping me to know Christ better. Thank you Lord
Thank God for Cliffe, what a vessel
I love the "coming to speak" idea so much. His talks on the college campuses are practically sermons anyway, but I love this method of presentation. Thank you Ed, and Cliffe as well!
I was straying away from my faith for some years, then I heard a cliffe classic GMAA on a college campus, and I listened to about 300 more of them afterwards 😂 Thank you cliffe
I love how he makes it so easy to understand! Thank you Cliffe!
God bless you Cliffe!
Amen! Speaking the truth!
The body or temple is temporary. The spirit is eternal
Cliffe rocks

I have; for a long time, "struggled with the concept" of "Forgive AND Forget"; and now choose to be a LOT MORE DISCERNING in my choices of "Birds of a Feather"... Forgiving a rattle snake for biting me is rather easy... Biting is WHAT RATTLE SNAKES DO, by DESIGN! ... All the SAME; I have AVOIDED picking up rattle snakes, for very nearly 60× years, now!!! (I'll be turning 66× years old, in a couple of months; if I keep breathing Earth Air that long!)

Why do we need the church? For consistent values...? I get the idea, but I don't think it's the right mindset. The foisting of the church on people that are skeptical is the wrong way of going about it. "Hey, if it works for you, be part of a church. If it doesn't work for you, don't." That's what I look for. I am a teacher that certainly "preaches" to be kind to everyone, but I don't think religion reinforces that the way secular kindness does. I volunteer, teach, donate both money and time to causes and people, and I don't think about God at all in any of it. I just do it because I want to. That's the message that I find missing from the church.
What you do isn’t good though, when there is no foundation of goodness.
@@wesleyjakesta4095 So good acts aren’t good unless we do them in the name of a deity? Why does a foundation of goodness matter if the received kindness is the same?
That wasn’t what Cliffe was saying about the church, but allow me to lay out some counterpoints to your argument.
What happens when you don’t want to be kind anymore? Without the objective standard of God why is someone who wants to be selfish any worse than you who wants to be kind? It’s just their choice after all.
Aside from this philosophical point there is also the questions of your real motives: are you sometimes kind because you just want people to like you, or perhaps because it makes you feel good? This isn’t a judgement I have many selfish motives myself I’m simply trying to outline the need for God in our lives, and Jesus Christ offers us the chance to know him.
@@Gorpmeat I do not think you avoid any of those pitfalls any easier with a “foundation of god” than you do without it. I understand it’s comforting to know that those around us believe what we believe. I get that as an underlying motivation for proselytizing, but I have found the church to be exclusionary and often filled with piety without merit.
I’m supportive of others believing, but my kind actions alone without any expressed religious affiliations have left others questioning their relationship to religion. The foundation is pretty weak when kindness for the sake of kindness is confounding.
@@blaketrent8548 not in a deity, in a altogether lovely man who shows the truth. The church is a blessed place for friendships and praise. Also people speaking to you from God.
The foundation is quite firm, considering who the person of Jesus is. Your kindness is the love and kindness Jesus has.
