Love Amy Grant's talent. She is absolutely amazing.
We need "Amy Grant Sings The Great American Songbook (featuring Vince Gill, Michael Buble, Harry Connick, Tony Bennett ... you get the idea)"
Beautiful person, beautiful song ❤
Great piano and steel solos. Impeccable band. Vince whispers "bridge " to Amy.
An outstanding renditions of a classic song
What a lucky man Vince is, in so many ways!
this is what real country music is all about.
Amy Love your rendition, you go girl, I’m liking the band as well, awesome job, piano 👍🏻 and as always Vince can solo, I loved this ♥️
Man, they hit that diminished chord and chills go up my spine.
LOVED her rendition! Way to go Amy...you've still got it in spades~ 😍
A truly beautiful lady.....vince is one lucky guy.
Very listenable indeed..🎤🎹🎸👍⭐🏴
Super voice great band
When I thought that everything was said and done..... Amy beautifully surprise me once more...!! -- You're still a such blessing, beloved Mrs. Grant !! A legend !
Ms. Grant, Mrs. Gill!
Such a sultry voice - -
Great job Amy & the Band ...really liked Jeff's piano playing on this one!
My wife and I were there that night - it was absolutely magic.
Y'all are the lucky ones and I mean every word of it 👍
Loved her since she was sixteen. Still a wonderful talent and classy woman. And killer rendition of this song.
Me too!
I was 9. ------- 48 now.
What I don't understand is, who are the nine idiots who disliked this song, my God what do you want? A perfect song done by a perfect angel.
Now there are 13 idiots.
Beautiful!
Beautiful on every level. Thanks Ames.
Amazing!
Fantastic as always!
So good!
Thanks Charlie!
Thanks
Great stuff!!
If they keep this up they might steal me away from my rock-n-roll & jazz (maybe).
You just need to see them live, that will do it! Thanks for the post.
Chinese Mugwump to be
Different direction for Amy....very nice!
I was at her San Diego concert back in 1995, and she performed Carole King's "It's Too Late" and just floored the audience. Never had I heard the song sung with such emotion (1,000x better than Gloria Estafan's version). I wish she had released it.
Cyndy Walker would be proud. Thank you Amy. You are a wonderful Lady. I don't know how you put up with that Okie, ha being from Oklahoma I know what it's like ha. Just kidding I love Vince too.
When Amy Grant sings, it's like God kissed her throat. And when she sings with her husband's band the Time Jumpers, it's all to the good. Yes.
@westbender 820 But he did start it with pedal steel maestro Paul Franklin.
@@thomastarwater6035 No he did not. The great John Hugey was there, then he passed away and Paul Franklin came in. Vince came in later.
This question is for Vince.. How does it feel to be married to the most beautiful woman God ever put on the face of the earth?
5:12 Mr. Lucky
that is a beautiful song sung by very pretty lady thank you very much ehhh
Ehhh! :)))
A very simple song with exquisite lyrics- there is a CZcams version by Laura Spence accompanied by Jack Pearson - have a listen
just going on body language.....whoa.....fan.....wait for it.....
Amy can sing. Thank you. Cindy Walker who wrote this and I think Eddy Arnold cut it first. ???
Eddie gave her a tentative title and she wrote the song , it took a little while but she got it done ⚡
@@bobroberson9286 Thank you, Cindy is one of my favorite songwriters in history, I had just gotten to know her not long before she passed away.
@@ronniebishop2496 That had to be a very memorable experience 👍
@@bobroberson9286 Yes I asked Cindy for some songs. I was working with The New Texas Playboys that Johnny Gimble was going to produce for Warner Brothers West for the movie Deep Within My Heart about Bob Wills, and Dwight Adair the producer and owner of the copyright had a horrible time getting the Wills sisters to agree to anything, as far as the New Playboys were concerned, in fact Leon Roush convinced her that they would take away from the original Playboys bookings, which wouldn’t have happened. It was a mess and a lot work for nothing and a shame, because Bob deserved it. Sorry you got me started lol 😂
Cindy Walker and Eddy Arnold?
Nothing like watching a woman who earned probably 50 or 60 million dollars in the business singing at a bar for free becuase she wants to
Uhhh Piano really distracting
Mmm, Amy almost forgetting her line. Probably nothing at all but her family history came to mind.
It's not a song she does often. Not to mention this was before her heart surgery, so oxygen could have been an issue. I'm worried for her too, given what happened with Dr. Grant, but, in recent interviews and performances she seems better than ever.
