Her struggle with her new body is because of how much importance she placed on her image previously. If your ‘look’ was your ‘life/ career’ of course there’s going to be a battle as that image changes. But she also, they, celebrity women, need to also acknowledge how their obsession with image translates and cause insecurities in Jane Blogs. Her struggle with her new body is because of how much importance she placed on her image previously. If your ‘look’ was your ‘life/ career’ of course there’s going to be a battle as that image changes. But she also, they, celebrity women, need to also acknowledge how their obsession with image translates and cause insecurities in Jane Blogs. It feels ‘poor me’ when the shoe is on the other foot, and that’s not cool. But I get image/ media/ influence, it’s a vicious circle which is why it doesn’t change.
