I’ve been following Tim since the basement started. In one of his first few episodes he brought up mentorship, he said and I quote “until you get one, stay locked into this channel (the basement)” I’ve been locked in since because I felt that prophetically. I may never be able to see him in person but in this waiting season, Tim is my mentor. Until the Lord leads someone to invest time in me, I will continue to invest in the basement and stay locked into every episode because I’m every episode I feel a little more free and I feel led to be closer to God. Again, I may never meet Tim, but I am so grateful for him.

I scream, "This!!!!!!!!" I'm new to AZ by about 18mos. I tried a church in the beginning of our first months here. Holy Spirit told me that church was not where He was sending me. He told me, "I am sending you to streams in the desert." This was a reminder from 6mos before my family moved to AZ when He told me He was sending me to streams in the desert. I spoke to the guest pastor at this church I just attended for the first time. This pastor told me, "If I see you here next Saturday, I will know you did not listen to the Holy Spirit." And he blessed me and prayed over me and I went back to the search. God answered my prayer before my head hit the pillow that night. He sent me to Two Rivers Church. I have been there since day 1. There has been so much growth and development i cannot explain in this one comment, but everything y'all have spoken in these podcasts has been my next step. I am looking for a mentor. The mentor I "found" God actually showed me in multiple ways that she was the one He had prepared for me well before I stepped on the scene.
Obedience will always bring about the oil of blessings. My heart is what leads not my name 🔥🔥

So much 🔥🔥🔥 I grew up in church where the idea of mentorship was a foreign concept. Hearing from y'all has me praying and seeking God for a mentor and seeking to mentor those under my care and in the ministries God has placed me over. I am thankful to God for both you and Tims platforms and the gold y'all give away.
While listening to this, I wrote a literal list of things to go and repent about surrounding this topic because I have fumbled the bag of mentorship in several ways in my head and heart. This was good and heavy because I felt so damaged by it for years and desperately craved a mentor (in the worst ways...ugh) when it was really I had some repenting to do. Lots of it.

Great conversation, it's the clarity for me. I've mentored Founders for years but as I immerse myself in living out the Kingdom, it's a whole other ball game. Thank you both for always pointing us back to the Kingdom and back to the book, all 20 verses Tim. God's been preparing me for a little under a year. Killing my pride and ego and removing a ton of distractions... I'm now praying to be chosen by a mentor. I just turned 20 and I desperately want someone to commune with in the way you and Tim speak about. I'm excited and terrified but I know God's preparing something insane.

Value the vendor more than you value the name. You don’t have to know the name to shine bright , you just need the person who knows how to make you shine bright and make the connection . Tim that’s a bar.🔥It’s also confirmation because I woke up this morning and Holy Spirit spoke to me with the melody from Rihanna’s song “shine bright like a diamond” I didn’t totally get it and I looked up the words and was like nawl. But then Holy Spirit said he’s redeeming that phrase for me. Then Tim speaks about shining bright on this pod 🤯. A funny thing... is that earlier when I was talking to Jesus at the park the Holy Spirit highlighted a relationship where I'm the more mature one and it felt weird. And I felt Him say, "You're here for a reason." He even brought some verses to mind 😂 about older women teaching younger women.
As I watched this episode, I felt the Holy Spirit say that it's time to pray for someone who can mentor me, which is something that I've kinda given up on.. if I'm honest. Thanks for the reminder that gold can be found in my local church. I just need to look around and wait for Him to speak.💪

This was PURE 💯 % GOLD, BABY!!! I had to reflect on how I messed up an opportunity to have had an AWESOME mentor. I did all those things that you said not to do about a year ago. However, I prayed about this very thing days ago. Oh now the LORD will surely answer ☝🏽And this gave me my exact answer on what to do. I think about how Saul had Samuel personally as his mentor and he didn’t listen 👂 or he half did what Samuel said. God still gave him time to get it together as he was still king and then to make matters worse he went to a medium. Long story short this gave me revelation knowledge plus wisdom and pointed me into the right direction. Jesus is always the answer. If you were to ask any lead pastor worth their salt, they would be the first to tell you, when I’m in a bind, when I need spiritual guidance… they are not calling their buddies in the faith, big time minister friends, they are calling their mommas, their daddies, their granddaddies, and grandmamas… (biological or in the faith)… they callin and talkin to their “nobody’s…” they ain’t callin and seekin nobody else… it’s not magic, it’s not sudden, it’s dedication, time, and investment…

To be honest, I avoided watching this video the first couple times I saw it. I am glad I watched it and I am so grateful you’re for your relationship.that we get to glean off of.
On another note, I have watched a lot of the videos on both you and Tim’s Chanels that you guys are with each other on and you talk a lot about how great it is to have each other and the heights of it, are there something that I am curious about is what happens when you disagree with each other have you ever had something happened that tried to separate you and how did you stay committed to another without either side cutting it off, I have someone in my life that when we agree it is great. If not, it is hard to bring up.
I wish I had a best friend (besides Jesus of course 😂).

I've been mis managing a relationship where I could have, or can be mentored. It was easy to miss read the obvious signs, and mis categorize the relationship. Probably because of my lack of being around and in mentor and mentee relationships.
There’s still time, Arthur. I’ll tell you just from my personal perspective, even if you mismanaged a few moments, if you do an about face with a humble heart and self-aware eye, it will def get their attention and the Lord’s.

If you know of some sin or heresy in this man's life your prayers to the Lord and His response to you should guide what you're typing (or not typing) on here. Your words don't sound as those of one who is humbling self and subjecting self to the Spirit.
