At the bottom of the screen a small yellow flag with a black Two Headed Eagle in its center was held. That was the flag of the Byzantine Empire which existed from the 4th century to the 15th century centered around The City of Constantinople, named New Rome upon its expansion but quickly took on the name of the Emperor who sponsored the explansion and was personally responsible for many of its detailes. St. Constantine, as he's known to Eastern Orthodox Christians, who ended the Roman persecution of the religious, and sponsored St. Helen, his mother's travels to Jerusalem and its environs to locate the places mentioned in the New Testament for events in the life of Jesus Christ, today's Shrine's maintained by the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
The 2-headed Eagle in Yellow is the flag of our Orthodox Church. Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine/Greek). The flag of our Byzantine empire was Red-Yellow with 4 "Bs" depicted. The "Bs" meant "King of Kings, help the King". Our last king was Constantine Palaiologos who died fighting freakin' turks. Greece started the trend depicting birds. Athens has had the Owl. Then Rome got the Eagle. Then again, we've got the 2-headed Eagle.
