    The Pistons will be better this upcoming season! They could be a border line play in. Lot more potential in this team than last season. Trajan Langdon making the right moves to put the team in the right position and direction with his leadership.

      Troy-jan Weaver-Langdon is not making the right moves, or else Tobi would not be so gratuitously overpaid.

    I'm a Detroit BasketBalllllllll........ Person since Joe Dumars days. I think the Piston's are good enough for 30+ Wins this season. With Ron Holland, Ausar Thompson, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, Jayden Ivey and J.B Coaching this is conceivable........ Piston's VS EVERBODY.......

    Again situational basketball has an effective substitute lineup pertaining to a winning formula which complements each unit that are physically and mentally prepared to meet the challenges of competing for respect that leads to success

    Good Vid.....Ivey was held back by Monty Williams last season which would have hindered his development. So he may need another year to prove himself. I am predicting 30 wins this season.

    I wanna add to the harris vs grant debate grants iso game is his money maker yet down fall! I know cade missed his scoring ability when he was traded but is iso and throw it up game didnt help the team development any. But still it was nice having someone that could score and be an athlete at the same time. But harris is a jack of all traits player! Theres nothing he cant do! He just doesnt want to be a 1 or 2 option! He knows his role! Harris is really a team guy and thrives when hes atmost the 3rd option

    If we can pick up a real big, not another small center like Taj Gibson, but a real big like Lopez from the Bucks, would propel the Pistons to the play in game at the very least, the Pistons are still way too small, with no shot blocking presence, can’t be a good defense without a legit shot blocker

    • @therockneverstops8261
      @therockneverstops8261  Před 2 měsíci

      I agree they are small at Center 6’10/6’9 is not a good look in today’s NBA of multiple starting 7-footers in the lineup, though they do make up for it in girth, physicality and wingspan. I would remind that the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Celtics won a Championship without rim protection from the Center position (I don’t count KP who was injured for the majority of the playoff run). I think Jalen Duren, in year 3 and 21 yrs old, deserves at least another season or two to grow defensively. Check my video on Duren with Team USA

    • @therockneverstops8261
      @therockneverstops8261  Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@hasbullasbiggestfan4438 Giddy was played off the floor because he was a defensive liability more so than a non-shooter. Isaiah Hartenstein is not a shooter and will likely start next to Chet Holmgren. Ausar’s defense leads to offensive opportunities in transition along with getting stops that doesn’t allow the opposing defense to set up creating mismatches and making the offense more efficient. Ausar is also a great off-ball cutter, straight-line slasher, offensive rebounder, pick and roll lob threat, and secondary facilitator/ playmaker. Last season when Ausar came off the floor the defense fell off the cliff from an eye-test and the team had to run offense perpetually from taking the ball out under the rim. What Ausar Thompson brings to the team offensively has far more to do than just shooting.

    • @hasbullasbiggestfan4438
      @hasbullasbiggestfan4438 Před 2 měsíci

      @@therockneverstops8261 cutting isn’t effective when your man is already in the paint. Hartenstein is only a starter because everyone else on the floor can shoot. And you’re talking about last year’s team like we don’t have JB instead of Monty as a coach and like Duren and Cade can’t improve defensively. Not to mention Tobias and Tek are far better defenders than Bogi and Knox/Livers. We also can’t use Ausar as a roll man if Duren is already sitting in the dunkers spot, there is a reason both teams in the finals only had one non shooter on the court, and even DJJ who was a 37% shooter in the playoffs was left open in the finals lol.
