Description -
Daryl Dixon, a threatening new villain arrives to the communities. He's the leader of a group called the saviors, who are intent on making all the other communities bow to their feet. With Daryl at their lead, who can stop them? Rick, Negan and Maggie find this new group and decide to take them on, but they may find that Daryl and the saviors are to much to handle. This is the tale of all out war with Daryl and the saviors.
I've never done an alternate universe style tribute before, so I hope you really like it! In case you can't tell, this edit cast Daryl as the leader of the saviors instead of Negan. Negan is portrayed as a member of Ricks group that has personal beef with Daryl. It was a ton of fun showing off Daryl as the bad guy, leading the saviors against Rick and the others. Playing around with the audio files to make it sound like they were talking about Daryl being the main antagonist was a challenge as well, but I'm really happy with how they all turned out. Nick....nick.....NICK! I have fucking CHILLS right now bro. The way you manipulated every single piece of dialogue and still made it sound like it was normal is beyond me. The music choice is amazing. The whole concept of this video was genius. I honestly don't even know what to say here, this is one of the only TWD videos I've seen that have gave me actual chills. @@TheWarleader btw, I do believe that if Daryl and Merle hadnt crossed the group in Atlanta, that they would be something like the saviors. Like Daryl would just follow Merle's bad side like he always did.
@@TBEdits That's a good point! I think Daryl even says something like that himself in season 8. Would've been interesting to see Daryl and Merle resurface as bad guys if they both stuck together.

I have been thinking about an alternate universe where Daryl was a Savior for DAYS and suddenly I find this gem. THANK YOU! This was a great edit, the dialogue was edited together so well!
Aww you're welcome! Thank you so much for watching!! I always had the idea of what it would've been like for Daryl to be in the saviors based on a couple dialogue lines Daryl had in season 8, so I decided to make my own edit. I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

This makes me wish all shows had a "What if spin off" tho I guess that's what the dream scenes like michonne on the island are.
This idea is so badass imo cuz it brings new depth to each character. I'm imagining Negan joining Rick around s5 and been more of a wondering hero/anti hero who saves people, Rick wouldn't have such a bond with Daryl and would have probably been closer to Abraham or Glenn in his place and Daryl would have worked his way up through the saviours until his merle kills Simon and takes over only to die to angry saviours. Then Daryl takes over now truly angry at everything as he never got over his dad's abuse or merles bullying and he never found a true home. Just badass

I’m trying to be a full time yt editor but I don’t know where to find my clips so you know where I could find it or how I could get my own clips I need some help
the best way to get clips for edits like these is buying the seasons on DVD/Blu Ray and extracting/converting them yourselves, you can find lots of tutorials on how to do this on youtube and online
I know that's probably not what you want to hear, but you're not going to find it anywhere for free online, and if you do, they're not going to be in a format you can edit with and you'll have to convert the files to use in your editing program anyway

really wish someone would just make a big folder that has every episode in a file you can edit with and share it for aspiring editors, but that would probably get taken down right away if anyone did unfortunately
