Love how Benjamin tells on himself when asked if he's been taking all the candles from the windows. He's such a sweet helper, sweeping up the cloves and pushing them in place. Darling child.
Magnolia holds a special place in my Texan heart, as does seeded eucalyptus. Learning long ago that you ordered yours from your florist every year was a revelation. No more chasing it down here and there. Your mantel is just lovely. ~ Lisa

I made a Really long magnolia garland for my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner tables and it does take forever!! Oh how I wish I’d thought of using an artificial garland as a foundation!!! You constantly ramp things up for me. 🙌🏻

Let me disclaimer this by saying I love you Laura, and there's nobody who loves ribbons that me. Also, your Mantel Arrangment is GORGEOUS, the Magnolia, natural element and White Poinsettias are exquisite. I just wanted to say, In my opinion, the golden ribbons really take away from the beauty of the the entire display. What do you think? Did you have second thoughts about the ribbons? Maybe my artistic vision is off today. I love you all, Merry Christmas !

My grandchildren love sticking the cloves in the oranges. We used a thimble but sticking with a toothpick first is such a good tip! Also love Benjamin's toys at the front of the fireplace. Brought back memories of my brothers having all their matchbox cars lined up the same way.
I agree, I think a runner rug would probably serve you well in general and definitely complete the aesthetic. That's really all that seems missing.

The natural look is perfect, the red would have been to jarring. Love the eucalyptus at the base of the white poinsettia and the yellow ribbon with the oranges and pomegranate is such a nice touch.

The Hoyas were a lovely gift to receive just before Christmas, I will have to check out her channel.
My mantle looked pretty good until I saw yours. Oh well... wonderful ideas for next year. I know it must smell great too! Only thing I wasn't sold on was the yellow ribbon. I think it is a personal thing though. Not a fan of the color yellow for Christmas decor. Seems better for Easter.

Laura, Hoya is my favorite plant ever 😍😍😍 here in Brazil they bloom once a year but is a spetacular show and the smell is amazing , it takes a wile to grow but it pays off. They do like late afternoon light.
This garland is beautiful. Keep in mind that negative space is okay and it helps the weight issue a bit.
