Thank you!
Great track, Simply Mind esque.....
The verve, a force to be reckoned with. I miss this era of the verve.
Long Live British Rock, LL the Verve / una banda excelente, intensa, poética, urbana, melancolica, moderna, directa, arriesgada sonoramente y no solo su cantante estrella Richard A , sino sus músicos también! 🇨🇺🇨🇺🇨🇺🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
THE VERVE! Truly one of the most underrated rock bands of all time, especially here in America... Fools! McCabe and Ashcroft are MAGIC together, too. x
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment on a few videos, glad you enjoyed them.
The Verve - A Storm in Heaven:
Highly underrated but mind-blowingly good music. Enjoy 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting Colin
This is The Verve I like
The Camden Town Hall performance of this track is still the best version imo
I've loved and listened to Verve; from this time until now, usually stoned, as I currently am. A Storm in Heaven simply one of the best records ever made. I'm currently subscribed; so let's all doth the proverbial cap to ScottishTeeVee. The picture AND audio quality of this upload is INCREDIBLE!!! To look at it, you wouldn't think VHS was even involved!!!
Your comment is much appreciated Steve. Thank you.
As you quite rightly say, a storm in heaven is one of the best albums ever made.
Nice one Steve 🙏
Magic stuff. Thanks for the upload.

am a huge verve fan,,and ive never seen this..thanks
You posted them the other day and as a millennial American I only knew bittersweet symphony. It’s funny how this era of their music isn’t shouted from the rooftops. I’m in a band with three guitars and all of us were baffled we didn’t know of McCabe. It’s also funny how much their frontman acts like Chris Robinson in some of their early days. Although they probably drank from the same well. Anyway thanks again for your archive making my life better. Peace and love!
You should definitely check outtheir first two albums A Storm In Heaven and A Northern Soul
Zanzibar Breeze thank you!
Also, their first EP is worth checking out.
5 stunning tracks - Gravity Grave, A Man Called Sun, She's a Superstar, Endless Life and Feel.
Calling Richard Ashcroft "the frontman" - ha, that made me laugh.
i commented how he looks like the black crowes singer on a thumbnail on another video
yeah same generation grew up in the same era
Superb quality!!! Thank you.
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
Glorious!! Mesmerising!! I didn't know them then, too young. Didn't expect Richard's getup of long hair and a turtleneck LOL. I'm seeing Jagger (suppose that's why people think my huge Ashcroft wall canvas is Jagger - I get quite annoyed)! Great video, thanks!
Totally He was n is a beauty 😍
I think Richard’s the only one performing live here. It sounds like they’ve dubbed his singing over a backing a track
You are correct. This show, often asked bands to perform to a backing track, with the singer performing live, I have no idea why they did this.
@@ScottishTeeVee Yeah loads of shows did it back then. Top of the Pops was a big culprit for it too.
Mark Hollis from Talk Talk used to sabotage performances where he was asked to lip sync, in protest, by lip syncing so badly on purpose that made it obvious it wasn't a live performance
Sad to rob the world of McCabe playing more guitar!
Ah that’s ruined it for me 😂 I thought wow! The sound, sounds amazing……
I see, I hear it's very clear
Because the day has come when you have won
It's myself I feel
She calls me, calls me the sun, the sea, yeah
I know, it's not for today
It's not for today, it's for you and me, yeah, you and me
Alone in my room, you're there on the floor
Open up your eyes, let me get inside
Learned to love on TV
Learned to come on TV
Can I help you?
Can I guide you?
It amazes me how I broke free
Then got brought back in
'Cause when the feelings there shattered and scared
I know, you've won, goodbye, I'm gone
Alone in my room, you're there on the floor
Open up your eyes, let me get inside
Said you learned to come on TV
Then hold on to me
Can I help you?
Can I guide you?
I'll do one thing, I'll try
Hold on now, hold on now
Here comes, here comes
We'll do anything
Na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel down
Na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel down
Na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel down
Na, na, na, na, na, na, I feel down
Thanks for sharing all this precious video content, I'm a huge 90s music fan and every time you upload a video I get surprised. Rediscovering music makes me feel alive. I wish you all the best.
Regards from Mexico.
more of this show i need it i am close to giving up in life , i have heard 8 gigabytes of verve bootlegs including all 36 or 37 live gravity graves but dont think ive heard this sun the sea
More Verve to come, that you have never seen
Genius
Epic
Impressive!
Thanks for watching and commenting Gabriel
I wonder what Oasis thought of them at this point, when they were supporting them in ‘93
Im not gay, but Richard Ashcroft was a beautiful man 😳
gen x doing their childhoods
Is this live? Richard seems to be the only singing live
This show often asked singers to perform to a backing track, no idea why.
Any chance of remastering South Pacific from Camden Town Hall?
I could but the videotape is in storage right now
Fuck oasis, this Is real brithis music
America didn't get them. Didn't get the Jesus and Mary Chain. Christ, they didn't get oasis!!
I want to start a punk band called The Vermin but I don't see how that wouldn't already be taken.
