Gibson Girl M-357-a

Beim AWDF 2023 brachte Chris 3 Gibson Girl mit an den Strand von Römö. Ein Gelber aus Deutschland, ein Orangener aus den Staaten und ein Weißer aus Russland. Alles Originale aus dem 2 WWF, sie waren Teil der Seenotrettungsausrüstung für Flugbesatzungen, die notwassern mussten und alle 3 ganz friedlich neben einander...

They looked to be in amazingly good condition. Most of the ones offered for sale these days are damaged in some way, usually with the fabric having rotted. Those kites helped to save many lives during the war, and it's great that some of them have survived so well.

That's a rare sight to see all three. I have seen one in New Zealand but not as good as condition.
