It's so difficult to watch this stuff anymore, because it's so prevalent everywhere. But the saddest part is that people fall for it and cheer her on because they're too lazy to pick up the Bible to see what God really says.
the sad thing about all of this is that it completely removes people from personal responsibility (addressing physical issues they have, watching what they eat, etc)...it's always a "demon of oppression" causing "everything"...
I have never heard of this crazy woman, but she is one of the most off-putting false teachers that I have seen yet. Unfortunately, I am surrounded here by deceived people who believe this sort of thing and it is breaking my heart and disturbing the peace in our family. This is the best video I have seen on countering this word of faith lie. Thank you, Jordan, for giving a straightforward rebuttal that I can use. At one point in my journey, years ago, I encountered this teaching and I wondered about it. Thankfully, God granted me a measure of discernment after I studied His Word concerning our words and the true source of power which is NOT me!! I will be sharing this one on my fb page.....Oh, I pray that at least someone will listen with discernment!

So I ask that you think about what North America has done to people's given names. So NO she is NOT a "Charismatic Karen" she is a False Teacher spewing unbiblical words. I have listened to Dr Matt Reeves sermon with a tiltle 'From everlasting to everlasting', its eye opener , it opens up a lot about Imutability, Simplicity and Completeness of God. False teachers talks really complicated things, like there is a power in our words, spiritual stuff and other yadiyadayada. True teacher teaches how amazing our God is, how Infinite Jesus is, How powerful the Holy Spirt. True teacher focuses on Triune God.

Great video! I also was a part of this movement for close to three decades but didn't believe in it for about the last five years. I totally agree with you regarding by his stripes we are healed. Thank you for the wake-up call for everyone. When I was younger, I would visit my parents and there was usually their denominational newsletter on the table. Towards the back there was a page like a community billboard. Every time there were 2 or 3 posts about saying certain prayers and God would heal you of what you prayed for. So 3 Our Fathers, 5 Hail Marys (etc) would force God to heal you because you said the right number of prayers? That always bothered me a lot. It's just like this lady here... because she said it, God has to honor it. We are not in charge.
