- Error code 17809, EGR valve short circuit to ground, but it wasn't. In this video, how to solve this by replacing the crank case ventilation heater is explained.
And how to do some service is also shown, such as:
Gear box oil replacement. Remember to have the car level and not just jacked up in one end when doing this. Another word of wisdom is to check that the filling plug isn't stuck before draining the oil.
Auxiliary belt and pulley wheel replacement.
Oil level sensor replacement.

I have one.A 1.4TDi.Lovely car.Not selling it anytime soon.Apparently Top Gear magazine's top two cars of the last 30 years, alongside the R8.A future classic,and a worthy successor to my Mk ll Golf GTi,which unfortunately I had to sell.Nothing else like the A2 on the road,plus they are rare,which is good.Future classic definitely,if not already.
Wow, very impressive! These verhicles were the pinnacle of Audi's engineering, before the bean counters sadly got the upper hand... My personal choice for the zombie apocalypse😀 But not the 1.2 TDI 3L, man, that version is far too complicated transmission-wise🙈 The 1.4 are the best of all worlds💪

Hello my friend. My Audi A2 has some issue that we are unable to identify. The engine starts and runs just fine. After a while, especially if AC is running, but also without, the board lights up with check engine, check oil, ABS lights. It runs just fine as is. Then all of a sudden the check engine light starts blinking and you loose power to a degree where the car barely moves in the 1st 2 gears. We replaced fuel pump, oil pump, oil, changed injector, spar plugs, spark plug wires exc. Basically spent 2000 Euros changing everything the sensor shows. Same issue... Audi service told us they won't look at it as it is out of support. What do I do?
Hi Dotka. Weird problem. No misfire, just getting weak? Fuel starvation? Has the fuel filter been replaced?
What else can make the engine lose power like that? Is the electronic throttle working as it should?
Is the engines ground connection good?
