Well, that concludes the real era of Peanuts. And what a way to go. I wonder how much of this Schulz lived to see.
Ironically, this VHS tape is the final peanuts special Charles Schulz lived to see the production of but this was eventually released seven months after Schulz’s death.

I actually have at least two ideas for what could be done for the future of Charlie Brown, two specials.
1.) "It's not the same without you, Charlie Brown" - A special inspired by "It's a Wonderful Life" starring Charlie Brown as he discovers what life would be like without him in a half-hour dream sequence.
2.) "Charlie Brown, the boy who would be king" - A doppelganger of Charlie Brown who happens to be a ruler, decides to switch places with desperate Charlie Brown. Charlie Brown however doesn't know how to run a kingdom, while his friends praise the Charlie Brown look-alike, and enjoy the new "him" for a while.
Both specials would be flash animated, and be made for the first time under the current owners of "Peanuts", 20th Century Fox, and have it air on Fox.
Your second idea is like “The Prince & the Pauper” Peanuts style

I definitely love the first idea because it is directly taking the concept that was executed in What a nightmare, Charlie Brown we’re snoopy has a nightmare about being an arctic dog after knowing how overly civilized snoopy is.
I wouldn’t say the peanuts are owned by fox. The peanuts property is currently owned by Wildbrain LTD, and Warner Bros owns the home media rights of the previous peanuts specials made by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson including Happiness is a warm blanket, Charlie Brown in 2011.
I'm curious of how Schultz crafted the "Ive gotten kissed by a dog" gag when Lucy is forced to get kissed by Snoopy
That gag is so funny because it serves Lucy right for being so mean and nasty to Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and everyone else

Yeah. There's _The Peanuts Movie_ , which is mostly CGI-animated by Blue Sky Studios (yes, as in _Ice Age_ and _Rio_ to name a few).

I remember seeing Pied Piper on eBay and wanting to see it very badly. I bookmarked the page on my family's old computer and it was on the Netflix DVD rental page. Now I have seen the movie finally years ago, Pied Piper was created after the death of the Peanuts creator Charles Schulz.

Charlie Brown will invite Linus, Schroeder, Marcie, Franklin, Pig-Pen, and probably Peppermint Patty to his birthday party but he won't invite Lucy or Violet

So has Charlie Brown losing his baseball games and failing to fly his kites been based off of Charles Schultz’ reality? All I know is Charlie Brown failing the football kicks are based off of Charles Schultz playing football with his family.
