- President Obama's Osawatomie, KS Speech on December 6, 2011 laid the foundation for a blueprint for an America built to last. It served as a bookend to his 2012 State of the Union address.
You cannot Love this country and disagree with what the President in saying. He has said this from the begining and has never waivered
Whenever I'm down about the state of our country, whenever I am struck by the racism and the vitriol of a few in this great country of ours, I'm going to play this video. And I will be reminded that we elected a true leader in 2008. I don't care if there is dissention within the progressive ranks, the democracy at the heart of our nation WILL prevail, and hatred and injustice will NOT. Barack Obama always said it was never about just him and it still isn't. Up or down, together. OBAMA 2012.
This was his greatest speech as President so far.
It showed us that he is fighting for an "America built to last".
Love this guy.
My first vote will be for obama in 2012!

A Great Speech by a Great Man.
Obama 2012! You're doing an excellent job under unprecedented circumstances! Four more years!
Common sense and an ideal simply expressed but humanity that can be acted upon. it's not just American values but global standards of decency and respect for values that we all share. Thank you President Obama. I hope the American people respond to this and ignore the politics of fear, consolidation of the rich and powerful establishment and latent racism espoused by the Republicans.
I cried
