There's nothing wrong with this video.I've been electrician for 15 years.Taping up your wire nuts is a common practice. I would suggest not using the wire nuts that come with the ceiling fan or lighting fixture.
4 yr here lol. There's nothing wrong with the tape, im assuming the video is bad wiring. I can see it's a remote control fan and i'm pretty sure it's wired incorrectly
