Prius C/Prius Aqua P0A80 Hybrid Battery Problem And Fix

On todays video we are going to fix a code P0A80 "replace battery pack" I'm showing the process from diagnosing to fix and erase codes, like I always say on my videos do not attempt to do this if you don't have experience I'M NOT RESPONSABLE FOR YOUR SAFETY OR ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOUR CAR, this is a demonstration how I fix this car I hope it works as guidance.

thanks for that question, most people fix their batteries with a reading lower than 7.4 so if in a battery you se a lot of 7.4 7.3 7.2 7 7 7 and one module reads 6.4 that might be the culprit but I've seen modules reading good like a 7.8 and then when the battery is at high load they are weak because they don't hold enough capacity, usually I do the recondition of 3 discharges/charges and the module tells me the real nature that's how I can make a long lasting battery pack but for easy and fast fix just try to identify the lower voltage one, but like I said before sometimes works and sometimes don't , later I will post a video how to do the discharge and charge.

I see the batteries you are replacing are being farthest from the cooling fan, wonder if that was the reason why they go bad first.

Usually the middle ones are the most affected by the heat and deteriorate faster I replaced those because people buy ebay modules and unfortunately ebay sellers just cheat people with old modules.
