    What's the name of this pedal on 7:20 ?

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Hello @Danonyo, thank you for reaching out to us with your question The pedal we’re using in the video is the Mission Engineering EP-1 Expression Pedal. This is a sturdy pedal that is great if you’re performing regularly, however it is a little on the expensive side. If you don’t perform regularly and you are looking for something that is less costly there are many inexpensive pedals that will do the job such as the Nektar NX-P Universal Expression Pedal and/or the M-Audio EX-P. If you do a search for ‘Low Cost Expression Pedals’ you will find many suitable options.

      Hello Andrex Lara, thanks for reaching out to us.
      Yes the M-Vave Chocolate controller will work with Overloud’s TH-U IOS. It will change presets with very little setup. However toggling effects is a challenge and you will have to plan what you wish to control as you will be limited. We have a video scheduled for the coming week detailing how to control TH-U ios with the M-Vave Chocolate controller. Be sure to subscribe so you will be notified when it is released.
      Thanks,

    @guitarschoollive What about using m wave chocolate to control thu as a vst in reaper instead of standalone?
    Could I combine the instructions in this video with the instructions video you uploaded for reaper/amplitube?

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hello @bddb, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes, you can combine the 2 videos to get the controller working with TH-U in Reaper. Many users use 2 controllers, 1 for changing presets and the other for toggling effects. You would set the preset controller to ‘Program Change A’ in Cubesuite which would then give you access to 128 presets instead of 4. I hope this helps.
      Feel free to reach out to us again if you decide to purchase a second Chocolate controller and you need assistance setting it up.

    thank you for the info. The problem i’m having is controlling the effects to the off state with overloud ios. I can program change and toogle a effect on but not off. Program changes are not important right now, but in a live situation, I need to turn effects on and off. Is there any work around for this ? maybe a diferrent foot controller than th M- vave you could suggest ? Thank you for any help you could provide.

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem

      Hello @davidpruyne, thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. In order to use the Chocolate with IOS you will need to enter the cc number in the data 1 field and the number zero in the data 2 field of each pedal in CubeSuite.
      Then in TH-U IOS go to:
      Midi Mappings
      CC-Global
      select an effect
      select mode
      Press 0 only
      Now your effects will toggle.
      If you need any further assistance feel free to reach out to us again.

    Hi, In this "advanced custom mode", what the add button means in each switchfoot?

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem

      Hello @dibuja, thank you for excellent question. The add button allows you to multiple commands with 1 pedal. Here’s and example:
      You have 2 keyboards; one has strings and pianos and the other has horns.
      You set the Chocolate to send on midi channel 1 to keyboard 1 to change to just Piano and send on midi channel 2 to keyboard 2 to change to Bells.
      I hope that helps.

    Can we use this midi footswitch in mooer ge150 connecting directly to usb otg

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem

      Hello Vin Zo, thanks for reaching out to us with your question. The FCB 1010 does not have USB, it has standard midi plugs. If you want to connect via USB you will need the Roland USB to Midi cable. Note: the cheap USB to midi cables you find on Amazon DO NOT WORK with the FCB 1010.
      I hope this answers your question. Feel free to reach out to us again if you need more assistance.

      How many midi messages can we add per foot switch? I want to turn on a lot of effects with one press

      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem

      Hello @MrChickenking44, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. It is possible to control multiple effects with one pedal but it is too involved to post in written form. Please give us exactly what it is you want to control (your effects setup and pedal(s) on the Chocolate you wish to use) and we can make a detailed video over the weekend outlining the steps.

      @@guitarschoollive hello, justa wanted to know the limit of midi messages on a pedal. On my air step midi controller I can only assign 8 cc messages. Thanks

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem

      @MrChickenking44, we have never tested to see the maximum number of messages per pedal. We’ll get back to you by the end of the day to let you know. However if you want to control multiple effects with one pedal it would be much easier to just use scenes in TH-U. Simply set your effects in TH-U and click learn instead of having to setup the Chocolate to do the exact same thing.

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před rokem +1

      Thank you for your reply. Since you’re using a PC you must know that you cannot use Bluetooth, you must use the cable. Let’s start by making sure your controller works (we’ve had 2 bad controllers that we had to send back).
      Follow these steps:
      1. Go to Cubesuite and set the controller to Program Change mode A. Be sure to close Cubesuite completely when you’re done.
      2. Open TH-U and go to Settings/Audio Settings and set your midi device to USB midi.
      3. Select a bank and load a preset
      Now when you step on the pedals your presets should change. Once they are changing go back and follow the video to sett the controller to your specific needs.
      Let us know your results and feel free to contact us again if you need more assistance.
      Thanks,
