The Z400... back when atv magazines were at their peak! Late 80's Dirtwheels and mid 2000's Dirtwheels had some of the best, tech, shootout, builds, and reader's rides articles.
The build is looking so sweet. The look on your face when you installed your swingarm was priceless. LMAO. Oh...don't forget your frame to motor grounds. You don't want that issue to resurface again.

Man! Watching this LTZ400 series really takes me to year 2005 when i sat on one yellow LTZ400 and few months later my dad bought me one! To this day i still have it and ride it, but everything is aftermarket now and I can hard remember the OEM look! But looking at your build REALLY takes me back to the beautiful old days ! Of course I adore the way my Z400 now rides (434 big bore, FCR 41MM carb, fox air shocks and +3 a arms and suspension - dunes eating machine) but that OEM look and feel is priceless!!👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🔥💯 Keep it up mate!

Sick build! I would wrap the headlight shroud/hood in the blue decals to match the graphics to make it look more like the old school 250.

I did an entire ground up 04 z400 build last winter. When I seen you put the oil tank and rad in before the steering stem I started laughing. I did the same thing and had to take the two back out lol

Before I watch I'm gonna say I have a 05ltz got end of last season . Did a co.plete tear down. I have everything I need for bushings bearings and almost time to start putting it back together . My wife's cousin told me about this so im gonna sit down here shortly and watch and hope I get a few tips

The valve cover or the cam cover whatever you want to call it I think looks awesome I love that Matt blue finish it doesn't match the frame of the four-wheeler but I think it looks great

Lmfao I’ve had this song stuck in my head for the last few weeks it got so bad that I had to learn part of what I remembered on guitar. The whole time I was like What in the hell is this riff from!!!” I even showed it to my sister who is a huge metal head and she didn’t know. Turns out it was one of the songs played in your videos. Specifically the quadzilla full assembly video. Makes sense because it’s my favorite series of yours. Hair spray, index or rubbing alcohol works to get grips on. The true tip is to use a blow gun and compressed air. Just wedge the tip of the gun under the lip of the grip blow and push them on.
No joke thought you where testing the strength of the green lock tight with hammer 😂😂 until I rewatched it 🤣

@@MichaelSabo bent rod, 2 piece piston, rare custom 3 piece cylinder, and the head is grenade edition!!! Haha but only missing the exhaust so it'll get built right. I'm gonna give it to my brother for 200 and rebuild the engine if he gets the parts.

I know it's a late suggestion but a YFZ 450 carb would be perfect for this build. I think its something suzuki might have had on a special edition considering some of the DRZ bikes had FCR carbs. Also, I might have missed it, but did you do a DRZ base gasket for a touch extra compression?
Not a bad suggestion - seeing this just now and the build is done but I've seen guys do the FCR conversions on these. Everything is stock down to the OEM gaskets!
