In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create these fun woven drop earrings. They're a great project for trying out some basic weaving techniques. You could even hang charms or teardrops from them if you prefer!

(X2) 8mm Beads
(x12) 3mm Beads
(x6) 4” Segments of 20 gauge wire
(30") 28 gauge wire for weaving
(8") 24 gauge wire

Chain Nose Pliers
Round Nose Pliers

What do you do to keep the copper wire from discoloring someone's ears? I love copper.. would love to use copper for my earrings. Love your videos!!
I'm not sure that there is a way to keep them from turning ears green. You can use "Renaissance Wax" to help keep the copper from darkening, but I'm not sure that it works well for ear wires because it does wear off. Normally, I buy ear wires that are either iron or stainless steel and are coated with an antiqued copper plate color. Those have worked best to match the earring, keep the ears from turning green and seem to work better for those with sensitive ears. I hope that helps!

@ellieshandcrafted care to share where I could purchase those earring hooks?? The nail polish is ok but it thickens the wire also .. so I would like to try something more sustainable ❤
