To see the core of the DS sink for a split second, and then quickly followed by a star like explosion!! Hot damn!................ I apologize for my geeking out but damn it still gets me today as a 40 year old!😁

yes they are...But he missed a lot of them.
Well, in the original trilogy, they didn't have amazing CGI so they actually used small, non-dangerous explosives (like the ones used in firecrackers) for every blaster impact.
And yes, there were actually more explosions in the prequels that he missed, but those were mostly background explosions.

My favorite has to be the very first one in the series: the door exploding at 4:21 has this wonderful bass to it. It's really visceral and totally serves the scene by putting the audience in the shoes of the rebels.

honestly? its really cool to watch how, upon switching from prequels to OT, explosions go from just random noise and chaos to each one actually serving an important purpose

You also forgot the star destroyer and the tie fighter that the rebels destroyed when Admiral Ackbar orders them to attack the super star destroyer.

1, those *2* lasers set off a chain reaction throughout the ship.
2, those explosions were from the lasers hitting its shield, or perhaps some kind of self-detonating lasers that explode when they are near the ship, kinda like real-life anti-air rounds.
3, that ship was rigged with explosives by an assassin.
4, that was again some self-detonating lasers.
5, that was probably just a very strong shot.
6, that one did make no sense.
7, that one did make no sense also.

The air from inside the ship that has been destroyed carries the sound and makes hearing more possible.
The funny thing about this is explosion can't happen in space u need oxogen

I don’t think the explosions and sound in space are diegetic sounds, which means the characters can hear them. I think it’s just for our benefit.

What happened to the other half of Empire Strikes Back? If you included a lot of minor stuff, like Luke shooting the bridge controls, then you have to include all the (arguably more impactful) explosions seen in scene like when Lando and the gang escape cloud city, and when Luke and Vader clash sabers wrecking everything around them.
You missed the first Tie Fighter collision explosion during the Asteroid Field chase in The Empire Strikes Back.
You forgot the force lightning explosion in the hangar duel.
When you cut remember to listen, you cut the explosions off before the sound was finished in many. Thanks this is really cool!
