This might sound silly- after 33 years of being married this song still defines my relationship with my husband. I'm 70 in a few weeks, he's 72. Everyday I walk out the door, he says"Be safe" with such love . We don't have much in terms of material things. I don't care. His love is all I want. Btw-- We saw Ms. Keys at the Oakland Paramount on her 2005 tour. She sang this song. Amazing!!
Lovely!
ok that is just the sweetest thing ever and not at all silly.🥲bless you and congratulations on your love. thank u for sharing!

GURL!!!!
I have never seen a diverse women's orchestra before, I never even knew it existed. It was so beautiful I had to pause the video and take it in, the representation is real. To be the majority where we have only been the minority, to be seen, acknowledged, valued for our talents and what we can bring, respected and most importantly equity, that we too can have full representation, to see yourself reflected so widely, it does something to your bones. Incredibly talented, our global women of the orchestra, I salute you. x
So well said sister. I’m crying for this as well.
I’m not sure what colour I’ve been in every lifetime but it is beautiful to see in this one. Everyone should always feel honoured and respected. The world gets kinder and better and diversity makes us stronger. I love Austen and I love Julia Quinn and I love to see people thriving and celebrating who they are and feeling like they can belong and flourish anywhere. There is nothing wrong with reclaiming the past or painting a different portrait. I try to only look back when I do in appreciation or not look back at all - to help manifest a better and better future. 💖
As a woman of color. There was literally no diversity there. Everyone looked alike BUT it was nice to see all female or so we think they were all female.
I was literally crying, it’s beautiful😍😍😍
Yes!!🎉 it made me think, I need to get my daughter on an instrument NOW! (She's almost 4. Listening to her practice a violin might be the death of me 😂)

This song makes 1000% sense as Charlotte and George's song! I loved their story all the more because neither them nor their relationship was perfect but they still did their best for each other.

Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think
That the physical things
Define what's within
And I've been there before
That life's a bore
So full of the superficial
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you, baby
If I ain't got you, baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
Some people search for a fountain
Promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you, baby
If I ain't got you, baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, you, you
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you, baby
If I ain't got you, baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
If I ain't got you with me, baby, oh, ooh
Said nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me, baby

Yes the absence of men and white people really does make it beautifully diverse, doesn’t it. I assume they’ll release a follow up video with an all-male whites only orchestra, to enrich the diversity even further.

I remember having a discussion about 12 years ago about how an artists legacy can only be defined by the amount of timeless songs they've created...this song was right at the top of the list of examples I gave. I haven't watched the show, but I'm sure this song hit like it was released JUST for this!
I’ve never thought about quantifying an artist legacy through timeless hits before. I know I sound like a boomer but I just feel that artists are having less of these songs as we are progressing
@@tanitaharris7211 not being a boomer -- just being truthful. music produced nowadays doesn't have any longevity or long lasting classic qualities that will stand the test of time. it's about producing hits and the beats are all electronic, the voices are mass produced so much that the essence and quality of both the human voice and the background instruments are completely erased after production touches it and is finished. everything is over sampled and relies heavily on nostalgia, samplings and cares nothing about originality.
@@Just999Meey, I do believe we still have some hidden gems who produce timeless music but they are not mainstream obviously because they are not producing what's trending. People like Lianna, Verum, Moses Sumney, Savy Henry to name a few, though some of them already have the exposure, because they chose to be slightly off the trend they are not at the top, true music lovers listen to them and maybe 10% of the people who found their songs on a tiktok sound listen to them but those kind of supporters move on to the next trending song as soon as they feel like it's out of date.
I never imagined my favorite RnB Song to be this magical in an orchestra. Super love it.
