This scene is everything. The moment Anthony said that no one else matters, they both gave up on what others must’ve thought about them. About the broken engagement, about the possibility that Kate was the reason why the wedding didn’t continue, and about how crazy they were for each other. For the first time, they were completely honest about what they feel. You can see it on their eyes; the longing and lingering stare. The subtle touch, and the heaviness of their breathing. Only people who are blind wouldn’t be able to see that indeed, the Viscount had fallen. And it wasn’t with Edwina.. but the sister-Kathani Sharma. It has been Kate all along, it has always been her.

Me too. Got the shivers the first time I watched it even tho I'm long addicted to HRs and have read this line thousand times. He made it sound like I'm hearing it the first time.
I love their chemistry so much.. their acting is amazing. Every facial expression matter, breathing, body language 😭😭 its perfect that im crying. The soundtrack is also amazing.

Yes, I was so happy when I finally saw them let go of everything and finally be truthful to their hearts and each other, I was honestly quite upset at their family's intentions of covering it all up and not letting them be together in order to try to save their reputation, I know they meant well but in my brain I thought that those problems begun because Anthony went in the opposite direction of his feelings and proposed to the wrong sister and now instead of finding a good solution you expect him to continue to go against his feelings?? That's just gonna cause more problems, if anything they needed to shed some actual truth out there and that would somehow end up solving all their problems. In the end, being open about their feelings actually did solve their problems, specially since they did it in front of the queen herself who seems to be quite the romantic and is all about supporting true love lol

PS. Ofcourse the main character for the next season will be another sibling. But Anthony and Kate ARE the viscount and viscountess Bridgerton so they probably will also have screentime and we can’t wait. 😍

Oh how I loved this season... Their story is just so beautiful . Anthony's character evolution is incredible and his denial of being in love simply changed the moment he saw her. Kate spended her whole life protecting her family , just like Anthony , and now she finally surrendered to love .The actors did such a wonderful job in bringing this beautiful story to life.
The strength Anthony found to not kiss Kate when she scrunched those eyebrows and leaned in on him is mindblowing #Kathony

The acting is legendary.

This is my third favorite scene in the whole season, after the famous study room scene "You are the bane of my existence" and the "dancing on my own" dance scene. This scene is so beautifully shot and very symbolic to Kate and Anthony being immersed in their feelings and not caring about anyone else, as Anthony told her "no one else matters". it was really graceful and kinda emotional, because they both thought it's their last dance together
This season makes me cry, laughed and feel excited and felt love so strong between the two.. its hard to move on that i kept rewatching all the scenes.. they are amazing!!! Kudos to all the cast and crew .. 😭❤❤❤

This season is a rollercoaster until the last episode it makes me nervous, fearing that they might not end up to each other. Those eyes are burning with love, oww cant express what I feel! Hoping that I will meet someone as how Anthony's glare at kate :(
The amount of times I have watched this seen is worrisome
What I love about it is that you cannot compare Daphne and Simon's story with Anthony and Kate's, because although from the same setting they are still diverse and dissimilar to each other. I love the first season but I also enjoyed the second season. Kudos to the showrunners!!💐
Considering how people complain the plots in the books are too similar to each other sometimes, I think that making the first two seasons from each other was a good move. We should expect that love stories would be different between different characters. I know that it bothers people to not see all they can that was in the books but for this to be an adaptation that speaks to more people than its original audience, I think it was smart to make it different as long as there is a benefit later!
And here I feel that Anthony's willingness to be with her despite reputation risk just speaks worlds about how he seriously loves her and became a different person over this season and that is just ... Chef's Kiss

One of my fav parts of the season. Their looks, their gazes, their chemistry. Kate's outfit, everything about this scene was amazing and I always come back to this scene and the love confession a bit after.

they came into each other's lives like a wrecking ball indeed. Anthony just wanted marriage of convenience and doesn't wish to marry out of love Kate just wants to secure a better future for her sister but things happened they fall in love and they really did fall for each other so hard. This is really a good song choice for this dance scene

His children are Edmund Jr, Miles, Charlotte and Mary. that's why that three fingers and Anthony then showing 4, it was foreshadowing.

Everything about this scene is so perfect I find myself replaying this so much 😭 Wrecking ball was the perfect song for the dance… the lyrics “i never meant to start a war.. I just wanted you to let me in” is exactly how I feel like Kate and Anthony felt for some period of time. They never wanted a big scandal/“war” to start but they couldn’t help how they fell so deeply for eachother ! patiently waiting on szn 3 ! My mental health depends on these to characters 😭🥂
