People need to stop sleeping on this channel. Bailey is freaking bad ass. I love these Monday videos.
I agree 💯. Love makeup and true crime she is genius for putting it together! I'm like "omg she killed him, and that eyeshadow looks great!" Lol I'm new to her channel and I love it!!
I'm like binge-watching this series
Yolanda Martinez for real
Yolanda Martinez it literally took a half of a mmm vid for me to fall in love with her personality and realize that she’s is by far my fave
Yolanda Martinez facts!!
Lol I mean on her calling into work... I work in healthcare and we are held to a different standard. We are expected to call in even if we are literally dying. 😂 and nurses wash their hand religiously. Idk.
Jessica Jones I thought the exact same thing!
Exactly
I think thw hand washing makes sense tbh. You're shock and coveted in your husband's blood; you probably just want to feel clean and normal.
What's your job in healthcare?
Thought the same thing
Me: shes not talking like she usually does I hope shes okay
Bailey: "this is my third video"
Me: realizes I've binged watched her entire series back to the beginning
Same lol
Me too 😅🤣
Had that realisation when she didn't do the theme song....
Me right now
Literally!
Just because she was a Nurse does NOT mean she could have gave him first aid...my grandmother was a Nurse her whole life, but when my grandfather had an allergic reaction to food and his throat swelled up she was screaming for people to call 911. This was out in public.
Because there isn’t much you can do when someone’s going into anaphylactic shock outside of a healthcare setting besides using an epi pen. If he didn’t have one, it would make sense she would have others contact emergency services while she stays with him and monitors his airway and breathing.
Well…. What happened??! Was your grandpa okay????
CPR will not help for anaphylactic shock
Okay but the same thing could be said about this. Like what kind of “first aid” am I going to do to a gsw to the head?? imma call 911 because there’s not much I can do for you. You know?
It's very different when the situation is personal. I was able to handle my son's near drowning despite being in a panic and yet when he was choking and no amount of heimlich (child or infant) was dislodging the.item and he was getting bluer and bluer (cyanotic) I started to emotionally react. (Now I feel ' suspish' 😂. Adopted with a lot of emotional trauma. We went THRU it with behaviors.
Usually when someone accuses their partner of affairs constantly like that, they’re having affairs themselves. Just saying. 💁♀️
Been there, done that-you couldn’t be more correct!!!
Speaking straight facts
It's that guilt! Gets em' most of the time lol 😆
That's what ive been thinking watching this video
Exactly what I was fixing to comment. It is usually the accuser because they are constantly trying to validate their actions.
hmm, people always ask "why did she stay?" but not "why he abuses her?"
Still makes me say why did she stay. As a society we make up too many excuses for bad behavior
Because abusers are easily explained. They’re monsters. It’s harder for people to understand why someone would willingly put up with it.
vermiiliion no way, I understand your point but it's extremely difficult for some people to leave abusive relationships. It's not easy to leave, and hard to understand why she didn't leave if you've never been in the position of getting domestic abuse.
It should be asked for both because a abuser can’t abuse someone who won’t let them
Because the abuser is not going to stop
when someone expects you to treat a gun shot wound when you deliver babies
My ex SIL was an L&D nurse. I asked her a medical question once and I remember her saying, “It’s been a long time since I needed to know that, I deliver babies.”
L & d nurses deal with lots of bleeding, shed want to stop his bleeding immediately
@@LifeoftheWoods L&D nurses administer medications and do fundal massage to manage bleeding, its not the same as emergency first aid care
@@kristanix6079 idk a single nurse that wouldn't immediately try to stop the bleed
I think she probably did it. But even if she hadn't, I could see "he shot himself and she chose to let him die" as a likely explanation.
Jury said, "yup, she definitely killed him but he was abusive and a danger to her so ehh 10 years probation. "
So with that probation are the jury saying “don’t do it again” !! 👈😝
as they should
AGREED
ikr, seems fair to me!!
Exactly lol
*petition to let tracey wash her hands without being questioned*

Tracey during the COVID-19 pandemic: washing hands
Scott: ARE YOU KIDDING ME
especially now lol
Anyone that asks “why did you stay” has never been in an abusive relationship
Yes. They don’t think they can leave and a lot of the times they blame themselves.
Exactly. If it was that easy there wouldnt be any abusive relationships and why do people always blame the abused party instead of the pos doing the abusing!
Right on, exactly
This x a million
exactly!
It's actually more dangerous to leave than to stay. Most domestic abuse victims end up being killed that way
100% true.
THIS!! This is why it makes me SO angry when people ask why abuse victims didn't leave. Or dare to call abuse victims weak for not leaving. It can be so dangerous to leave, it isn't fair to blame the victim for not leaving
And while that’s true, I think that’s important to clarify that that fact doesn’t mean that victims should have to stay and spend their whole lives being abused. It’s very important to leave as soon as one can do so, but it’s super important to have an exit plan in place first and to involve friends/family/local victims resources for support and safety
thank you for saying this. i think she somehow found a reason to leave and convinced herself but she had already been through too much
@@lex7492 yeah but ..
Controlling people will ALWAYS gradually isolate their victim, even without their victim knowing until it is WAY TOO LATE.
You: “So if you’re going to kill someone do it in Texas.”

Or dont do it in TX haha we have the highest death sentence rate and the longest sentencing rate.... Tx is pretty brutal most times.

This comment killed me 😂😂😂
Ur giving me asthma 😂
A nurse always thinks of her shift and whether it’s covered. Not strange at all to me. When something unexpected happens, its among the first things you think of.
My ex was just like Scott. I would paint my nails and he would get suspicious.
Me too. If I wore more/different makeup, i was having an affair. If I wanted to lose weight, I was having an affair. After divorce, I found out he had affairs with 6 women thru out our 10 yr marriage.
@@nikki4701 oh my! That's insane. Sorry you had to endure all that.
Same, if I shut the door while using the bathroom it meant I was “being sneaky”
Well don’t use red and he wouldn’t have had to worry! (JK)
And mine. And my religious mom
Why is it that once an abused person snaps and retaliates against their abuser they are looked at as horrible people?
No one really hears the victim until they snap then they’re the bad guy.
I got out of an abusive relationship and he was so manipulative that I couldn't even take him to court or press charges on anything he did, strictly because I broke his jaw in self defense the night we broke up
I'm glad she didn't get jail time.
@@rachaelhaas9035 You broke his jaw? Awesome.
@@brendazamora1113 me too!!
When I found out that my boyfriend of 7 years died on the morning of Christmas Eve 2018, I called into my work and told them that I wouldn’t be in today and didn’t know when I would be able to return because we have a 18 month old son together. So I don’t think that’s suspicious at all, same with the hand washing. I’m not a nurse but I used to be in the food industry for years and it’s just a habit of mine, always washing my hands. I think that detective just wanted it to be her…
I’m so sorry for your loss! ❤
It's like driving to work subconsciously, our brains just put one foot in front of the other sometimes while we're busy thinking about something else...It's weird they found those things suspicious tbh.
I’m so sorry for your loss
I found out my dad died while I was getting ready to leave for school (college) and I went to class because I didn’t know what else to do. It feels weird because sometimes the things the cops or prosecution think are suspicious in these stories are things that it sounds like I may very well do. Life is weird. Grief is weird. “Normal” isn’t really a behavior you can look for in grief or trauma.
Yes, straight male with no interest in make up and my bailey binge took me all the way back here
Mood. Im here for her lovely voice.
Congratulations your one of us now🤣🤣🤣
She is very beautiful.
he mentally broke her down with his abuse until she eventually cracked...i'm not saying her actions were just but he brought it upon himself.
Ever seen the movie Chicago? 😂😂
For sure he was pushing way to much but that doesn't justify ending someone's life. There are soo many other solutions to that. I guess you do have to be a bit disconected to do something like that and on top of it deny it all for ever.
I think he deserved it 🤷🏼♀️
Exactly. Why didn’t she plead guilty but that it was an act of self defense? I guess there was no technical proof of that since he was mostly verbal/mental abuse.
@@supreme_aset777 no one deserves death, that is unjust, do criminals deserve to be put on death row?
I got in a brutal car accident 3 months ago and even though I was in shock, my first instinct was also to call work and tell them I couldn't come in. 😅 the mind prioritizes wild things when you're in shock tbh.
When I was hit by a car, I asked the guy who hit me to call my job and tell them I couldn’t come in. I was still laying on the ground and all I could think was I don’t want to be fired. The mind works differently during shock.
I did the same thing when in the ICU when I had meningitis. I couldn’t even form a coherent thought but I still asked nurses to call my job and tell them I was there.
My mom was admitted to ICU, she was so in and out lucidity but she gave me her doctor's number. She wanted to let him know that she was sick and in the hospital
Same 🤣 and then my boss was incredibly annoyed that I wouldn't be in or was late in her mind 🙄
True! I was violently ill a few months ago. I grabbed the phone list off my desk and gave my husband instructions to call me off as he was driving me to the ER.
Anyone else look back at bailey’s old videos and see how much more talkative and just overall has changed in the years? I love watching her become more comfortable 🧡🧡
I can see being in shock and not giving first aid to a man with a gun shot wound but calling in to work.
I'm not a nurse but I'm a dental hygienist. It is engraved in our identity to not leave them hanging and to be professional. Not just anyone can just walk in and replace us.
In college we were SCREAMED at for less.
I'm not saying that I agree with her sentencing, but if the abuse she suffered from her husband came out in the court case, the jurors probably figured that although she killed her husband, there was a good chance that she was not a further threat to the rest of the community, and allowed the testimony of her kids to sway them into not having her serve jail time.
CaptHannahSolo Exactly my thoughts!
Yep!
I'm not saying she was or wasn't guilty, but her washing her hands doesn't seem too weird to me. My mom and grandmother are both nurses, and they have a constant habit of washing their hands ALL THE TIME.
Same
I used to be a CNA in a nursing home and I can validate that.
Yes. This. Every single nurse I have ever known washes their hands regularly without even thinking about it.
my thoughts too. even if im not a nurse, if my hands are full of blood and the victim is beyond saving, AND the cops are nowhere near the house yet, id probably wash my hands by instinct. and it wouldnt be too strange if she had just watched the husband dying, even if she didn't do it, because of shock and just relief of finally being free of that controlling, possessive man.
i have ocd and one of my anxiety things is over washing my hands.... so i was like “yeah get that blood off it’s nasty” 😂
In regards to her calling into work while in shock, it was one something she could do that probably made her feel more in control and grounded in the situation, also she could have just been working on auto piolet. Also yeah for a gun shot to the head I don't think there's much she could have been able to do and probably not moving him or moving him as little as possible could have also been seen as first aid, moving him improperly could of made things worse.
Moral of the story trust your wife when she says she’s not cheating you may isolate her so she’s start to look for someone besides you
true
literally
I feel zero sympathy for husband. He made his paranoia a reality

literally what went through my mind
Tracey would have lapped up any genuine attention, probably without even realising what she was doing. Just being normal near someone instead of walking on eggshells would be a relief. I know.
I feel like he possibly could have shot himself in an attempt to ruin her life, put her jail, and the kids wld be taken all outta spite for the affair. Since he made the comment "you have no idea what you've done " it made me think that. He may not have meant for it to be a deadly shot but either way it would have made things difficult for her which in my opinion was the goal
Exactly he could have done that I mean he was crazy. The only thing that's weird in my opinion is the morning run lol. I mean unless someone goes run in the morning often I feel like it would be weird yk
That could be, but I think that frase he said was just him going behind her back to the attorney and trying to take the kids.
Food for thought: Is there few lady killers because it's rare or because they haven't been caught🤔🤔🤔
10 percent of all murders in the U.S. are committed by women, according to Psychology Today. Many more men kill than do women, is what I make of that. The article did also say that women tend to be stealthier killers than men.
That seems like a very low percentage? I am very intrigued by this low number. I would bet it’s actually higher. Women are smarter, no disputing that 😂
We are really good at getting blood out of stuff. Just saying.
Maria Saucedo 😍😘
Mainly just the lack of women murderers, but maybe some females hid it behind self defense and other things.
This woman just can’t wash her hands without being suspicious.
And she was a nurse! Washing your hands frequently is just a habit you pick up working in a hospital lol.
@@kitanaandthehumanoid6506 as I nurse I can confirm this! 😂 I wash my hands all the time. I guess I'm suspish.🤷
Sonya Cruz I’m not a nurse but I do work in a hospital and I’m like that too 😂

She's a nurse, we constantly wash our hands
I literally yelped in joy at the punishment verdict like I'm sorry she did it but .... She did it for her kids and like I am so glad she didn't go to prison. She didn't have the dark motivations of so many other killers we know about. She just shouldn't be in prison, she isn't a danger to society
I’m proud of the jury. Those kids need their mom and the mom, did or did not do what she had or not had to do to keep herself and her kids sane. So I’m clapping for this one :)
Yupe
I love that you are focusing on cases we all haven’t heard about before. You are so articulate and your recall of the cases, while putting on makeup, is impressive!!
Staci Lee I agree it’s impressive how she is so articulate and can recall so much while putting on makeup! 👍🏻If it was me, there’d be so much stammering and I’d be saying “umm” every 3 seconds! 😆
Yaaaaas, also if we are smart enough to flow the story and the makeup application simultaneously lol
Someone who accuses their partner of having an affair that often, is the one having affairs!!!
It’s so sad that this is true
Exactly!
💯
Thank you
Guilty conscious
weird they’d get suspish about her hand washing. i wash my hands for everything like after touching money, before putting sunscreen on, just from coming from outside, let alone blood from a dead person. 😂😅
Right ?! I work in health care and my kids are ANA to a LOT of foods , so I wash my hands CONSTANTLY.
Especially since she was a nurse. What nurse WOULDN'T wash blood off of their hands?
Before cooking, after feeding the cats, Cleaning the litter box! riding the train! typing on my keyboard (which I do clean, just not often enough I guess)
what's so weird about it? she made contact with the body before the cops arrived, so technically she's somewhat a part of the crime scene. And it's not super weird that the spouse would get looked into first for any kind of clue because in all these crime stories, they're ALWAYS looked at first. It makes sense that the investigators kept her in check.
When u said 10yrs probation my jaw literally dropped. I honestly have no words.
OK so?
“Nobody goes to a hotel to TALK” your side comments are always the best in these videos 😂👌🏼

What really makes me sick is that they focused so much on her “affair” and not the fact that her husband was a total POS who systematically broke down this poor women over time. Being a survivor of an abusive relationship, I would never blame her for finally snapping. The only thing that kept me from physically lashing out at my abuser was because I didn’t know what would happen to my dog if I had to go to jail. I couldn’t do that to my dog. We had already suffered so much together at the hands of our abuser. He wouldn’t have know why his mommy was gone.
So sad. I’m sorry that happened to you and I hope you found happiness

I have seen this one a few times and somehow today is the first time I've noticed the Disclaimer on DV. I REALLY appreciate that, I wish more people would do that. I had a husband a lot like Scott but far, far worse. Like Scott, this guy began with accusing me of infidelity, of getting down with everyone from the green grocer clerk to my dad.... he called me ALL the names, in front of the kids. Also, isolating me from friends and family. I wasn't allowed to work. Couldn't do anything, without the threat of punishment upon return. . . I left, eventually . Which brings me to my second kudos for Bailey... its so great that you are irked by the "why didn't you just leave? " blah, blah, blah..... youre appreciated!

Ummm out of context but ok
When you said it was suspicious that she called into work I remembered that one night in high school my mom who is a nurse fell down the stairs and ended up breaking some ribs when she was taking laundry down to the washing machine and on the ambulance stretcher she told us to call her work and tell them she wouldn’t make it lol AND they tried to argue with us and say we were lying!!! we told them she would be admitted to the hospital that night and if they wanted to check they were more than welcome. She was a labor & delivery nurse, not a trauma/ER nurse. You don’t get many GSW’s in L&D. Every one reacts to shock differently.

Carole M labor and delivery nurses are still nurses. They go through the same training and education as any other nurse. All nurses know basic first aid.
@@mollyconnolly23 Yes all nurses are trained for first aid, but each department of the hospital prepares you differently. The ER/Trauma nurse is more ready to hop on than the L&D nurse.

Absolutely. I just had a close family friend pass away in child birth...and went to work while swallowing back tears all day. You really do not have an option in nursing.
@@linziRyan1965 I'm so sorry for your loss. Nursing is brutal when it comes to absences, as well as feeling awful about them being short staffed and the patients ultimately suffer cos things take a lot longer. I think a lot of people can understand her calling in, sort of ...!
I always think about the poor nurse who just wants to go home. Nurses can't leave until they have coverage. Also, you can't just leave because you can be charged with abandonment. As a nurse I know someone who's just worked a 12.5hr shift just wants to go home. If I was in that situation I would probably call in too so they could find a replacement.
A semi truck hit me on my way to work one morning. My car was totaled and I was in some shock afterwards. My first call wasn't the police or my husband, I called my work to tell them I wasn't coming in. 🤷
I agree, I'd totally call in to work. I was in the hospital last week and had to have emergency surgery and I was in the ambulance on the phone with my job
Nurses know. We always call in
When you think you’ve binged through all of Bailey’s MMMM but then you find one that you missed. 🥲☺️
She probably called the hospital to say she wasn't coming in because she relied on that source of income - for people struggling with the basics of Maslow's hierarchy, the mind thinks of these things first. Also, survival mode?
Tracy: *washes hands*
Every man in this story: Hmm, seems suspish 🤔
😂
I KNOW RIGHT
Personally, the husband reminds me of my grandpa and he shot himself in the leg and made it look like my grandma did it. He was abusing her for years. He ran over her legs with his car, he held a shot gun to her multiple times, he was always accusing her of cheating, he choked her and so many other things. My grandma finally got to a point where she found a safe way to leave. That's when my grandpa shot himself and my grandma went to jail for 3 months until her trial and they found her innocent. The only reason she was found innocent was because she had an alibi, she wasn't even in the same city at the time and the fact that they held her in jail was freaking ridiculous. Other than that it looked so convincing and all of the evidence lined up to look like someone else shot him.
But I'm willing to admit that I'm biased, and my judgment is based on personal experience and it might not apply to this situation.
this is why i hate when people say "if it was a man" bs. like there soo many men who go unpunished and lot of innocent women getting punished but still go off i guess
Exactly what I thought. He said something like "you're going to regret this". I bet he killed himself and made it look like she did it to punish her and frame himself as a victim.
@@goldeelocz I know this is really late but thank you thank you that's exactly what I was thinking because they never discussed that in the trial also where were the kids at the time he what shock somebody had to hear that gunshot no way nobody didn't
@@goldeelocz I was just about to post this same comment. It is possible. I also really feel bad for her b/c it just seems like every adult male around her, besides her other man, was constantly trying to find ways to make her out to be some evil selfish monster. Her husband, the police, the prosecutors (if they were a male). And their evidence was so weak.
Awe grandma, I'm glad she's away from that life
i mean if he was as abusive as everyone says, she can be guilty but also get off for the fact she was defending herself bc she felt like her life was in danger. its a thing
to be completely fair after i got in a car accident i didn't even think to call for help my first thought was i needed to call my work and tell them i wasn't coming in today so i completely understand not having perfectly rational thinking when in shock
why am i having an image of her as the detective saying "suspish" 😂😂
chihuahua thatderpdog I would love to see her as a detective. Doesn’t take any shit.
😂😂😂😂
Jake Peralta with winged eyeliner
* arrives at the scene of the crime * suspish.... super suspish...
Or like a TV show and a zoom in on her: “...suspish...”
THANK YOU for saying "sometimes its easier to stay" because it's true. When I was in an abusive relationship I was scared for myself, my baby, and my family members. He constantly threatened us and it was easier to stay and keep him happy than to try to leave and risk someone getting hurt bc of me.
U are so strong my dear ❤️

I called my work the minute I got the news that my brother had a cardiac arrest .. I don't know why .. I felt like my heart will jump from my chest... I was in shock .. but I called work to let them know I am not coming .. I had no idea why ..
Ok but Nurses have to call in sick even if they are on their death bed.
As far as I know, you have to call in at any job if you're sick and aren't coming in or else you get fired for no call, no show.
@@terrigaines1812 and the funny thing is THEY DON'T CARE WHAT THE REASON. Because it's "POLICY" like they literally HAVE to fire you.

I think for some jobs, this becomes instinct, you don't even think about it. It's autopilot
No joke, my friend was in a car accident during her lunch break and called the my boss while she was in the ambulance.
I sort of feel like he staged it to frame her and that was what he meant when he said "you have no idea what you've done". He managed to control her life even after he died, it was sort of like his final act of revenge
Edit: thank you for 1K likes🥺
I was feeling the same way. He seems messed up enough to think this was the best form of manipulation
I thought this!
Thought this too!
That's what I said!!!
My exact same thought!!!
I was so thrown off by this intro, then realized it was from 2 years ago and only your 3rd MM&M Monday! Wow. Look at ya. Love it.
Crazy to see how far she has come over these past few years!
Husband- moves family around to keep wife from having an "affair"
Wife- has an affair with a guy she met after moving
(did anybody else get a mental image of the uno reverse card or was it just me💀😂)
Oh the irony
Ruth Mekuria uno reverse card, hilarious!! Hahaha
Mine was the surprised pikachu
I don't know how to play uno so I dont get it🥴😭
I do now.
I think you found your niche, you’re really good at telling stories! Keep up the good work!
Her “little series “ change our world 😭😭😭🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰🥰🥰 we love you Bailey ❤
I dont think she is a danger to anyone else. Being in an abusive relationship myself she probably felt as if she had no other choice. I feel like she definitely did it but I feel like her sentencing was appropriate.
Okay, I know I'm late... but if Tracy wash her hands in 2020, no one would ever question her. HAHA.
Lol 😆
@Kwiinnii C. She was a labor and delivery nurse, too. Hand-washing is a constant for healthcare workers. That was a well-timed comment, though. 🙂
Jajajajaja
🤣
I nearly spat my drink out! 😂
Why do I feel like I’m in a fun cult with all my friends when I’m in the comment section and Bailey is the leader
We are the loyal followers 🤫🤫
*insert gif of somebody doing a disturbed/unhappy frown*
Yes we fam over here
Im totally fine with it.
I don't think the detectives know what shock is, shock is going through the motions, not curling up in a ball and crying. I'm also conflicted on the motel, like the marriage was dead and her main and probably only source of comfort was guy 2, I can see her wanting to get out of her house and wanting to meet up with him and not sleep in the place a dude just died for simple reasons
I’ve been binging your videos and I’m so happy to see how you’ve grown in creating this series!
A Crime story that’s “caught my attention”... not that’s “been heavy on my noggin’”? Suspish...🤨
This was before the theme song and iconic line.
This literally made me laugh
🕵🕵🕵 yes!! Lololol

Netflix literally need to sign her up to have her own series (this) to be up.
ABSOLUTELY I WOULD BINGE WATCH HER LIKE I DO HERE
Sign me up
And look at Bailey now, with her own Netlfix show!
@@mel7993 she has one?!
Honestly with the husband accusing the wife of infidelity a lot, it sounds like trying to find excuse to divorce her if she ever said “yes i did.”
Only people i feel sorry for in all this is the children grown up around domestic abuse then father dying then all this with their mother😓 hope them little children get the help and suppose they need and deserve🙏
So you could say she got off “Scott” free? 🤔🤣
🤣😂🤣😂
That’s the humor I’m here for 😆

Best thing I've read today so far

We need to stop asking “why did she stay” and start asking “Why is he abusing her” (or vice versa because men are abused too)
Yes!
Watching her recent videos and then watching bailey's old videos, you can tell her vibe is more lively and excited now. Love it, thank you so much! Feels like im hearing the story irl ✨✨
