In Canada it's "sorr-ee" whereas Americans pronounce it more like "sah-ree", especially in New England and the Midwest. I've also noticed the word "tour". In Canada we pronounce it "too-er" whereas most Americans pronounce it "tore". Just the difference between Canadian and American pronunciations.
As someone who is part Canadian, this resonates with the maple syrup in my soul.
