He is good at being the “No more Amats” card for Refia but I’m still unironically considering trying Vaan EX in the slot. Being able to reactivate backups means hard casting WoL can be a surprise and a 5k ping isn’t special but if it’s free and useful, it’s worth something.

Zidane is the single best card in the game at guaranteeing Refia resolves safely.
