- American Ice Dancers and 2022 Junior World Champions Oona Brown & Gage Brown make their Senior debut and perform their 2022-2023 Free Dance to "Big Sky" by Annie Lennox @annielennox and "No Good Place for the Lonely" by @JoeBonamassaTV, at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park in New York City.
They train in Huntington, NY with Joel Dear and Inese Bucevica. Choreography by Joel Dear and Inese Bucevica. Music editing by Hugo Chouinard @sk8mix.

Oh man, I didn't know if I would ever find a performance of theirs better than their Metallica one, but this one takes the cake! They're just so graceful and in sync... and that ending pose! It's the coolest one I've ever seen. Kudos to them and their hard work! :D
Seeing the difference in progression from 2 or 3 years ago is crazy.
He is incredibly strong for his weight to be able to do all these lifts so seemingly effortlessly now that she isn't a tiny kid anymore.
She looks crazy strong too, and must be doing a hell of a lot to make it look so fluid.
It's impressive in all aspects

Oona and Gage have really matured from their junior world title, and their choreography is daring with some incredible moves. I can't wait to see how they square-off against all their competitors in the senior level. I have a feeling they will do very well. Good luck, you two!

It is such a pleasure to watch you two skating. You have the same rhythm in everything you do on the ice, all movements and glides are in perfect balance and above this all is the joy of skating and dancing, thank you for these wonderful videos!
I love the changing green lights and how close you come to them with the camera, and I enjoyed how you circled around them from 1:18 for almost 20 seconds... And how the illuminated windows fly by while you follow Oona and Gage. It's mesmerizing. They are outstanding skaters with wonderful energy, but if you didn't film them that way, I'm sure that most people would not have discovered their beauty.
No other dance couple looks as happy skating as these two do. Fantastic program.
Amazing sibling connection from the synchronicity of the twizzles to the trust in the lifts but also in there expression. There is not a pair I love to watch more! (I still love watching other pairs they are just my personal favorite stylistically.)

These are produced so spectacularly. The camera makes you feel like you are skating with them. The music is overlain and is clear and consistent, but you leave in the sounds of the skates on the ice and the ambient sounds of the environment, which just enhances the feeling of audience being right there with them. Bravo!

Love this couple! Can’t wait for them to go pro & shake things up! Love their fresh approach to music selection! Beautiful leg extensions and little “extras” of body movements that add depth to the already stellar performance & choreography!
I agree! The music is a breath of fresh air! One more marching band tune , or sparkly tutu with skin colored material that is I'll fitting and I just don't know if I can take it.
They must have an amazing relationship as brother and sister having so much trust.

They perform such complex moves, and the moves just get smoother as the season goes on. I'm in awe of this year's slide move where they change direction yet keep the momentum. And the one-foot sequence where they end with twizzles. Gage is twizzling counter-clockwise, and Oona is clockwise. They move in a circular pattern, cross each other, then meet. In one of the competitions, it was shown from above and you could see just how spectacular the choreography is. Cheers to Joel Dear, too.
Pure artistry and joy! Also, love the setting of Bryant Park. There is a PERFECT moment at 4:10 where it looks like Oona is putting the star on top of the tree! Unreal!!! As always, outstanding job on the camera work! There is nothing quite like the "On Ice Perspective." Best wishes for a New Year filled with blessings!!!

When I see Ice dancing on Olympics etc, I get a bit like.., why are they not as cool as Oona and Gage. I just love the black clothes that helps to emphasizes the moves without getting distracted by the colors. The camera work as well. This is the best of 2023 so far. 💥🤠
I think that many of the ice dance pairs are expected to put on a pretence of being madly in love with their partners, and it feels false. Oona and Gage being siblings don't do that, (be weird if they did) but instead express a pure joy of skating and dancing, and in the shapes and moves they make, so their skating feels genuine. Also I do think the simple black training clothes show the lines so well, that many ice skating costumes distract from or indeed hide.
