The way he still loves his wife with all of his soul is absolutely beautiful. His wife Joey was such a wonderful soul that obviously still fills his and his daughters lives daily. He is a wonderful man and father. Men like him are few and far between!!!

What a beautiful expression of his unwavering love. My great Nana kept her ring set on after my great grandpa died. He died in 1992, and she wore her ring set faithfully until her passing in 2019. She always said she still considered herself married, and we still celebrated their anniversary every year. It is heartwarming to see that true love never dies. May we all be so Blessed.

Jimmie, my husband who died 21 months ago, will always be my husband. "Til death do us part" means until MY death, not just his. I can't imagine not wearing my wedding rings. I wore them almost 54 years before he died. What is done with them after I die can be decided by our children. Until then, I will wear them. Diane in NC

Actually this is not true, it is however true when it comes to cults like Mormonism. In Christianity when you say your vows it is till death do you part.

Joey passed away. It's not like she cheated on Rory and left him or just deserted him and Indiana, she died.Why should it matter why he still wears his ring?
His faithfulness even after death .... when many can’t or WON’T be faithful in LIFE. GOD INSTILLS GOODNESS, without HIM, there is none. But at some point it would be nice if he wasn’t alone - I know how that feels, not always the best. BLESS HIM and his little one 🌹

My friend is a widow and wore her wedding year for years after her husband died. The lord told her that her dead husband had become an idol to her! She cried all day, and took off her ring. My friend is in ministry, and very close to The Lord - but somehow she thought she wasn’t sinning wearing the ring. I believe it’s good to take off the ring, as the vows are to death we depart. Doesn’t mean he will forget her. You will always love those that go away, to be with The Lord. I hope he will get revelation of that.
