- Country duo Joey and Rory Feek took a break when they were expecting their first baby. Soon after the birth of their daughter, Indiana, who has Down syndrome, Joey was diagnosed with cancer and passed away at 40 years old. Two years later, Jenna Bush Hager heads to Rory’s farm to talk to Rory about Joey’s legacy and to learn about Rory’s new schoolhouse for children with all learning abilities.

My heart goes out to Rory and Indy. Joey was an amazing woman with undeniable talent. She is absolutely missed.
He is still hurting.. he probably always will. He is a good man and she was a good woman. Until he sees Joey again.. I wish him nothing but the best for him and his family on this earth!!!

This really tugged at my heart strings and brought tears to my eyes. Indiana has her momma’s smile and is such an incredible blessing. Rory is doing a wonderful job raising Indy and she is a gift. Joey is looking down and smiling on them all.
I just wished i could have met Joey. Her music is such an inspiration. I feel as though i know her and i will meet her someday in heaven. Love you Joey God bless your Rory

Simply amazing. I started following them when they were on the tv show can you duet. They had an amazing love, you.could simple see it between them, and now hear it in Rory's voice. Their faith, JOEY'S faith was unbreakable. She knew what she had to do and that was prepare her family to continue without her walking this earth, but ALWAYS walking in spirit with their 3 girls!! I just absolutely adore this couple. I have laughed, cries, sang, and celebrated with them! Rory... you are an amazing father!! You, Indy and the rest of the family are in my prayers every night. Y'all are my inspiration! I look forward to one day getting up to see you sing!

Breaks my heart. Im a widow myself an my husband passed almost 4 yrs ago in may. We have a 5 yr old son named clint that has cerbal palsy. Sad our son wont rember his poppa. I got pics an videos to hare with him.
Joey and Rory have displayed the kind of strength and grace that I could only dream of. Nearly 7 years on, it still serves as an inspiration to me.

This is 2020. I love for the Rory blog. I am 76. It helps me get through the day.I live in an apartment. I have watched animals outside. I put bread crumbs on the window sill. The birds come and some deer in the evening.

Love this family but he should keep his trolls off of Instagram chat because it's a shame !! If he cannot work his accounts himself he does not need anyone else to work them for him nor pretend to be him ! He's losing a lot of fans because of it !

His wife was lovely and very talented, but he is a storyteller by trade and he knows how to manipulate the emotions of others to market himself. The latest thing: He said he had to decide to accept his lesbian daughter and I don't understand this. He decided to "Choose Love", he says. To love one's child is not a choice it is a duty. We can choose not to like some of the things are kids do, but we must always love. I think he is straddling the line on this topic to keep his supporters, many of whom are Christians., happy and supportive. Again, he is manipulating the narrative. This makes me uncomfortable and feels disingenuous.
