Same thing happened to me at park wood off road centre,cost me £400 and a load of aggro after one way valve not fitted to lower of the air filter housing 😳

TheArcadeCrusader I found over a month that things just got worse as it dried out and the connectors all over thr truck got rusted and caked with sand I had to call a auto electrition out just to get the imobliser off so we could try fixing it and after there was water in the engine I gave up with my lack of expreance and sold it .. but it did get a new engine and sorted.. sorry I could not be more helpful to you
And on what level did you guys think this was a good idea? Well i geuss i cant talk i tried crossing a rushing river one a bike before....... With a trailer....

Have you considered buying a boat, it looks a bit like knocking a nail in with a Marsh Mallow, maybe you have a boat and drive it on the Motorway

yes a lot of water got in .. I wish I had the money for a disco 4 but it would not be treated like this lol
did have a snorkel on but theres a breather in the bottom of the air box so disco 1 oweners check under the air box with a tube of silicone lol

If you can't see rapids, don't do it mon! And if you do cross still water, back in first so you have a chance to drive back out if it begins to float.
we did learn the hard way that day but that's very good advice to any body watching this vid

out of interet how where the electronics? my dico had water at the same hight and so far only indicators locking and windows dont work
the electrics were not good at all I let it dry out and locking alarm indicators alternater and starter were all gone
oh yeah mine went off a little too. how did you fix your indicators ? oh not good :/

aha fair enough, the transfer box on mine is gone and indicators and possibly solenoid or starter has gone now. not sure what im going to do XD
