Omg...never thought it is that simple to install a bidet. Have been wanting to have have it for ages!! But worry about the plumber cost! 😂 thank you xx
I always find your videos extremely clear and very helpful. I’m a woman who is finding getting old quite challenging and your videos have really helped me in a lot of different situations. Thank you very much.😊
I’m so glad I can help you face new challenges!
BIDET GANG RISE UP!
Nice to see westerners adapting the bidet
Thank you! That’s very helpful. I recently moved out for college & my mom was so proud that I did it myself haha! Wouldn’t have done without this informative video tho!
So glad I could help! Congrats on heading off to college!
What a great idea. I just purchased this item and it should work wonders after my hip surgery. A little cold water in the morning will sure help me wake up. Thanks for the video.
It’s not too bad 😉 It works well for surgical recovery!
After a couple months in the Middle East, I came to love bidets. Your video gave me the confidence to try this myself (68 yo woman)! To stop leaks, I did have to use a wrench to tighten a couple of the connections, probably because I don't have enough hand strength and I was working in a tight space. The cone-shaped washer in the T-valve was not installed, and I had to ask my husband which way it should be inserted.
You can use plumber tape/teflon tape instead of the washer included to avoid leaks. It's super cheap and super reliable. Can be used in metal or plastic pipes as well. Just remember to apply the tape clockwise or the same direction when you close pipes/valves/etc. Just in case it's not clockwise.
Love,love your instructions!
Just installed mine then came online to see how others did. I have to say your channel's content is so valuable for home care. I wish I knew about it years ago when caring for my parents. Subscribing for sure.
Your instructions are so clear; so perfect. I am confident that I can do this and will. Thank you for this information
Thanks for making this so easy. Love this item.
First time watcher and ❤’d how clearly it was explained will be trying to install one myself 😊
and so… I just subscribed!!!
This is perfect. Thank you for sharing this, I just installed and it came out perfectly.
Great! Hope you love it!
It is just so clean. I have been using it ever since I was born here in India. Went to UK for my masters,It was just so much discomforting and gross experience to clean my butt with Toilet Paper. Paper can't do the job of Water 100% clean with no bad smell. There are some houses where the water pressure is low please make a video how to fix low pressure water in your bathroom.
We have loteh in the UK
Whats loteh
Thanks so much for this!!! Mine came with no instructions so I really appreciate it!♥️
You’re welcome!!
Very good! Sometimes it’s good to use plumbing tape around the threads otherwise, you explained it well. Like the fact more women are doing a lot of diy projects as it’s a great way of saving money.
Thank you for promoting cleanliness
Thank you EquipMEOT, the video was very informative. Also, i really like how you have time stamped the video, great content ! :)

Proud of you my friend for saving the environment
Excellent video- your communication style is exemplary. Very thankful for the information.

👍🏻👍🏻
2 years old but damn solid video. Thanks for the guide.
Thank you!
For those of us who get used to this method, travel bidets are now available. Turn off the water, drain the tank, undo the bottom of the tank. Great video.

Very useful video thanks

Excellent instructions. Thank you!
You’re welcome!!
Thumbs up!
U rock thank u ;)
You’re welcome!
thank you
You’re welcome!
For lowering the water pressure it is better to adjust the setting at the T adapter.
I don't understand why people have thumbs down this video. This was an overall positive video.
Guess ‘cause they’re too embarrassed to be instructed by a woman.
There are NO thumbs down
It’s either bots or someone accidentally clicked the button. Don’t let it get to you. It’s just a number. This video is really helpful and the dislikes won’t prevent the video from reaching anyone who needs it.
I don't see any thumbs down.
Great video
Thanks
Just installed my bidet
It’s leaking from sprayer. There must be a gap between sprayer and hose
super awesome. Moved new to canada and this is first video i saw 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
❤️❤️
Fantastic video. Saw a whole lot of other instructional videos, this the best..
Thank you!!
@@EquipMeOT I saw your install and it was a breeze to install mine. So Thank You..
You’re welcome!
I AGREE!!
I WATCHED THIS VIDEO AND HAD IT INSTALLED IN UNDER 10 MINUTES ❤️❤️❤️❤️
nice video
Thanks!
Good job! My ex-father in law is so stingy that he would open the water valve to fill the toilet just enough that the water would not be registered by the water meter. It would take ages to refill the cistern... but it was "free" water!
Does this comply with regulations ie correct size air gap or a check valve.
It leaks for me from the top part of the t valve with the wrench nut which is loose that goes directly into the toilet tank. How do I fix the leak?
Nice video
Unfortunately I couldn’t do mine, maybe it’s not the same size, cause it don’t match
You are super nice.
Muslims around the world praying for you for this 😄
Thanku ☺️✌🏻🥳
Does the flush still work after adding the bidet?
Thanks for the info!
I casually stopped the video at min 6:09 🤪
? Will this work for any two piece toilets including skirted?
Very good and clear to understand, one question how to do for hot and cold water.thanks
That would require a different product and installation to include the hot water line from your sink.
Are the threads standard?
Gracias sencillo y practico
De nada!
My fittings are a different size and too big for the bidet fittings to join onto. Is there a valve adapter I could screw on.
Go to your Local Hardware mom and pop store, lowes or home depot, take your parts that won't fit with you, find a worker there with knowledge of Plumbing, just ask and tell them your issue, they sell all of these parts separately.
What happens if you need a longer hose?
Mine never came with a tvalve can I use it just the same?
Every time need to twist the T valve for turn off or on.
theres always a thumbs down loll whyy this was just helpful
Is there a way to put warm water and not just cold water?
I am from Portugal. growing up we always had a full bidet in all the bathrooms. When I arrived in the states, I kept looking for where Americans hid their bidets. I was crushed when I realized there weren't any. How do you live without it? The full bidets in Portugal are super practical and they have hot and cold water, and you can even buy special "intimate" soap washes and intimate steam products. The bum gun is certainly better than nothing, but it's a bit of a shock every time, especially in the winter, because the water is so cold. But hurray for the bum gun. Good video explanation. TY
My t valve doesn’t tighten like yours did. The top vale to the tank is tight but the bottom portion swirls around easily. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?
Omg I’m having the same problem, thought it was faulty, did you find a solution?? 😃
I installed as per directions but when I open valve from bottom water tank is not filling water .
I have bidets at home in Thailand, but I live in MN now. I don't think it'll work here because the water is so cold even in the summer.
Now there are small gadgets to warm the water, check it out! I searched my hardware store and found a few. I will go tomorrow to shop for it.
Will this get warm water?
Would the hose and nozzle reach to the other side? Having shoulder surgery on right arm. Need to use left hand.
Check the Kit your buying most should say the length of the hose, if it's not long enough, you can easily take the included T-Valve & sprayer to any hardware store & get a shorter or longer hose as needed.
Anyone know how to connect this type of sprayer to a one piece toilet where the connection is hidden inside the toilet? Taking all recommendations.
is this ok to install it directly on the wall to the water supply pipe rather than on the toilet?
I have the same question as the water hose does not attach to the bottom of my toilet tank, it goes all the way up and inside. Did you figure that out?
I'm getting a small leak where the t valve is connected to the toilet. I've used the plumber tape and re did everything but still leaking. Any suggestions?
lots of more plumbing tape is the only thing that works i guess
Be sure you wrapped plumbers tape which most kits include 2x around each thread, use a Plumbers wrench is the best type to lightly re-tighten every connection, turn it off at the level on the T-Valve after every use, turn down the water pressure either at the wall. If it's still leaking, start all over again, disconnect it all & make sure all rubber washers are good & not cracked or broken, if you do this, I would take 1 washer to your local Hardware store & get new ones as most times those are better, if you need more Plumbers tape by that also. Many times especially if you bought a cheap Bidet and sometime even expensive ones the threads or the spray or included hose may not be great, you can always remove the hose & take it & the sprayer with you to your local hardware store or at Lowes or Home depot, & buy a new hose & better sprayer, they are not that expensive, then redo the entire setup again. Now if it's still leaking you have 2 choices, 1. give up on it & Return everything for your money back or you may need a plumber to do it as you may have old leaky connections to begin with somewhere in the toilet setup.
What do I do if my shut off isolation valve is right next to my tank? It's like attached to the plastic nut already
You may need a Plumber to do it.
Why connect the T-valve on the toilet end? It's more convenient & efficient to connect it on the other side where your valve is. Just need to completely turn off the water supply from that pipe... Other than that, well done🎉
A these one standard or it changes country wise
Write down all parts included in the kit, any hardware store sells all parts separately and in different sizes & lengths.
When I attach the sprayer to the T-valve, it leaks when I turn on the bidet. I tried the Teflon tape but it made it worse lol, if you or anyone else has any advice I’d really like it thank you!
Check if the rubber black gaskets are inside
Mines leaked and the valve broke bought a better valve and now the shower pipe leaks new pipe to pick up 2moro maybe I over tightened it but it kept leaking
I installed the same way but it leaking any advise how to fix water leakage please

I can't get the water line off at the bottom of the toilet. I wanted to see which way you turned it but the camera didn't pick it up.
Damn, I really wanted this in my new studio, but the building is very old. The toilet does have the vavle, but no removable waterline, is made out of idk steel or whatever LOL.
Hi, I have purchased this however , the nob to shut the water flow isn’t there , so I’m not sure how to proceed along.
You mean the one connected to the wall line to the toilet or the lever to the included T-Valve.
Hi, where i can buy this product, is it available online? please reply.
Yes! I purchased mine through amazon. There is a link in the description below the video.

I followed the your steps but there is a leak there. Water is slowly dripping from around t valve area and I don’t know why. Can you please suggest what I might be missing?
Ps- I have put the tape around the threads as well as there are black rubber stoppers where they need to be.
I think (not sure) the water might be dripping from the place where the main water supply attaches to the t valve. Earlier I wasn’t the rubber stopper here but I have it there as well. After this step the rate of dripping as reduced a lot but still exists.
Any suggestions would be great!
same problem here
@@BillBene67 the problem persisted. After putting a lot of tape(that comes with the product) and after 4,5 attempts the water stopped dripping.

No Teflon Tape was use?
nice but cant find the t valve
do all toilets in usa look like that? just making sure Just so I don’t have to get different parts
This is the most common design. There are some other designs but they are relatively rare.
Any big or small hardware especially lowes, home depot, sells all of these parts separately write them down and take list to the store.
@@EquipMeOT I got one of the rare ones that does not have a hose connecting to the bottom of the water tank, it goes all the way up and inside. Is there a way I could install the T valve at the other end of the water hose (by the wall )? Thank you!
