I have an anecdote that illustrates this perfectly: ten years ago, I was shopping in the discount section of a Sears store and found a beautiful and warm outdoor jacket with imitation wool lining. I was surprised to find this item at such a low price and was doubly surprised in had not been sold already, until I discovered it had no outside pockets.
It was the perfect color and fit I wanted and at a perfect price for my budget.
When I brought it to the cashier, I jokingly asked if I could have a further rebate because of the missing outside pockets.
The cashier, not believing me, looked carefully at the garment from all sides, inside and out, spread out on the counter, and was forced to agree that there were no pockets to be found but since her supervisor had left for the day, she hadn't the authority to drop down the price any more. Since it was the only one of this kind, I bought it anyway, thinking to myself that I would carry some sort of backpack or shoulder bag whenever I would be wearing this coat.
For some years, I wore this pocketless coat until one day, in 2018, when opening the closet to get something else, this very same coat now had pockets!
And the pockets weren't the kind you can overlook; they were sewn over the outside, as if added as an afterthought.
Did the cashier and I both "erase" the pockets out of existence? Did I give the tired cashier a post-hypnotic suggestion, did use The Force to influence her mind or was it a full-on Mandela Effect?
I can't be sure of anything anymore...
In case you have the same coat at home, go look it up:

Before the internet we had no way of mass fact checking our memories. You got together with friends, argued whether it was you or your friend who hit the game winning home run in little league, agreed to disagree and moved on. When the truth is you were probably both correct as you each had your own objective reality experience.
But now we have millions of people fact checking their own objective realities against that of others and its leading to the break down of reality in some ways. Hence the proliferation of the Mandela effect.

Like if I'm not looking at something or talking to someone are they actually still there/existing. It's hard for me to explain and put into words. I think I was going through an existential crisis. I would see people and think there's no way there's billions of people out here all living their own lives independent of my reality. It was mind blowing to think about. Look at a football stadium at max capacity. Thousands of people there and to know they all have their own thing going on that has nothing to do with me and we will most likely never cross paths is a difficult thing for me to wrap my head around. The most frustrating part about it STILL is even when someone has the same ME as me, and I point it out, they get that glazed look in their eyes, and just move past it, like it's just some weird anomaly. Either that, or they swear that we are just mis-remembering things. It makes me sad that people I am close to can't open up their minds enough to accept things that are right in front of their face, but too freaky to be real. I am now at the point where I just take everything in stride, and pretty much NOTHING surprises me anymore. I have stopped trying to find "the truth" because I figure it doesn't matter much why it is happening, (I mostly subscribe to the "living in a simulation" theory and the ideas in this video). This video takes me back to when I almost was driven insane by solipsism and objective reality. I don't remember and can't get the full previous comment in the deleted video to paste it, but I ended up saying that we will never really understand the nature of reality and what causes the mandela effect, and it will remain one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of humankind that can't even be studied or tested. I also remember talking about how we remember things that are really not true as false memories have been proven to be a thing, and memories can also pass down via DNA as demonstrated by various experiments.
The double slit experiments has far too many implications and interpretations, some so deep it could actually make you go paranoid as happened to me. I keep questioning the very fabric of reality given the recent events of my life as if the universe is conscious and is after me, yet, I'm sure, and I'm not the only one to think, that we will never truly know or understand the nature of reality or if it's really THE reality, a simulation, a dream of a Boltzman Brain, if I'm the only thing that exists making me a solipsist, if quantum immortality is really true would be terrifying, also it heavily implicates with the simulation hypothesis and multiple realities/universes.
There has to be a reason that things seemingly changed and continue to change and many people remembering the same and they having no connection, yet it will remain, in my opinion, the greatest mystery of reality along with déjà vus, another thing that also heavily implicates with many hypothesis of simulation, quantum immortality, multiple realities... and as well, remaining unsolved and impossible to study because it cannot be predicted when they will happen, if they will happen, and why they happen, and how people can perfectly predict the future many times while having them.
This is too much to think about and I've been brought to the brink of insanity by these things and all their implications.

@@AllTimeScary I had so much to type but wanted to keep it short, when I start going into a subject and their tangents, I just don't stop.
Lately I've been extremely paranoid, confident, convinced that the universe is a conscious entity and is going after me to destroy me from inside out, you can call it a very big delusion, but it feels so real and makes so much sense when I pierce together all the recent events in my life that are all recurrent, only going downhill, going slightly up or just flatlining and then going down faster and faster and harder than before, and each descent gets worse. I'm starting to feel that I'm one of the people called "targeted individuals" because there is no other way to explain any of the recurrent things that keep happening and only getting worse.
It's happening to a friend of mine too, she's convinced she is also a targeted individual.
Predicting the future in déjà vus could imply multiple lives or a simulation and that everything that will ever happen has already been programmed to just happen and we get a glimpse of what is going to happen, because it has all just been laid out in the running universe, or a repeated life and you have already died infinite times and you can predict what happens because you just have lived that before to an extent you can remember certain things.

I have a personal anecdote about consiousness affectng reality.
About 23 years ago, when I was a child I was intensly watching my big brother play various video games. I was passionate about video games at that time. The games in question had randomization features like random loot drops. I was playing those games by myself as well, but when my brother was playing I didn't have much to do, but watch him play.
When he was playing, I remember specifically 2 instances where I was wishing very intesnly for specific loot drops to drop and in about a span of 30-60sec those loot drops did drop. Both me and my brother were very surprised, because it was so sudden and so rare. People would be grinding for hours and days for those items to drop, and just like that, after clear declaration of my wish it just happened.
Those memories always stuck with me. Maybe it is a selective memory, but I dont actually remember making many wishes of same kind, my guess would be 4-6 total. I probably gave up after consecutive failures and didn't try anymore, thinking it was just happy coincidence. Or maybe we lose some of the magic (passion/wishes) when we grow up? :D

My husband is a veteran; he was an 82nd airborne sergeant with a ranger tab from 2000 to 2004 before he joined the Honor Guard and served in S. Korea for a year. He had to learn of every major battle and attack on America. Aside from that my dad and grandpa were History buffs and we watched hours of black & white WWI and WWII documentaries that covered every battle in detail growing up (1972 - now). I'm 50 and know for a fact that this didn't happen in my original universe; it was right when the large hadron collider first was turned on in 2008. CERN began messing with the quantum realm in 2008 and cracked our magnetosphere twice now & at the worst time because of the huge shift the earth goes thru every so many thousand years or so and the sun throwing more coronal mass ejections this year. I hate that our children have to navigate this country on the edge. God bless them for helping people instead of kicking them or throwing things at them. If its subjective when we're alone. Like in our dreams. Then they must collide when we're in the presence of another. How close does that proximity have to be? Whose reality overshadows the other? If another agrees yeah it's this or thay way. IE Berenstein Bears or something more crucial like a medicine. Then you tell them to look it up and you're right. Is it just you're right in their presence and as soon as they leave they forget or have a totally different memory of your meeting? Like it was someone else that looks and talks just like you but remembers the way they do? I mean anything and everything is on the table now but still it's like how far can we go? It seems like what we collectively notice is considered truth but then again maybe it is all solipsism and I expect and want offense. But honestly I really don't. I'm tired of everything being undefined and conflictive. I want peace and harmony. The world I'm in even if subjective is not the world I want. It would be much easier to imagine a world without so much negativity. Sure there is perspective reality and what we perceive we deem true but doesn't make it true even if collectively perceived as such.

He went on a rant about 1s and 0s and how everything is 1s and 0s and it was kind of scary but I had a weird feeling he was on some sort of higher level of thinking. Unfortunately they put him on a lot of medication afterwards and he was never the same. Very sad.

@@AllTimeScary How's holographic theory different from the simulation theory?
My current theory is the closest to the simulation theory and the reality is generated by the extrinsic to this reality AI algorithm to optimise the reality to fit the description of majority. It's just like you give a description to the AI image generator and is excites some neurons and turns off some other. Then from the noise the image emerges that fits such an activation pattern.
In this case the Mandela effect happens when you fine-tune the weights of specific neurons or subtlety alter the software running (like changing the score in old games by changing the specific bits).
What else can be added to further complicate this theory? That we could be considered a single neuron, of the network, everyone of us having a different look at the world, different specializations and problems to be solved.
Another idea is that the barrier between the running software, data and reality buffers is not that solid. Here is where it connects with the CERN theory that by playing around the limits of the speed and energies they want to (or they unconsciously do) destabilize the simulation or access the memory bits out of bounds of memory block we're supposed to have an access to. And here's where it connects to the Mandela effect. Even if the neurons don't change, but some parameters of the simulation do change (i.e. the seed of the initial noise pattern) then the effects you get from rendering the reality will be slightly different.

I have observed this in many people over my 60 yrs. I witnessed a car accident. A hit and run. I was certain the car was blue. Others saw the blue car. Some said it was a green car. We all were so certain. Also when a few of us would remember something that happened. Half had one memory others slightly different. I noticed over the years when I would argue with my husband. Upset that he did one thing or another. He would be so sure of what he said he did. I was sure it was different. I cannot tell you how often this has happened. Eventually I came to the same conclusion as mentioned here. There is no objective reality. We all see things differently. Both views are correct. Weird but true. I tell you what. Knowing this has made a huge impact on my ability to resolve conflicts. Or even avoid them all together.

Yesterday, I experienced the most profound Mandela Effect I've ever come across. It's regarding the HBO static intro that they run before each TV show. I am/was certain that that static intro had started back in the early 80s, however, yesterday I came across the history of HBO and it says they began running the static intro in 1993. I could have sworn up and down and bet serious money that it was the early 80s because I specifically remember seeing it while living in the house I grew up in and I lived there until 1983. For some reason I have memory specifically associating the static screen intro before the 1983 George Carlin at Carnegie Hall HBO Comedy Special. So I am blown away that the history of HBO shows the static intro did not start until 1993. I can't find any Mandela Effect info on this subject so it must just be. I guess it is what it is. 🤯

Thank you for your dedication to the Mandela effect, I had almost forgotten about it, but my interest is once again stirred. On the double slit experiment however, you would be well advised to take a look at Thomas Campbells' lectures. It is not the consciousness that is the deciding factor, it is whether or not the path of the particles is recorded or not. He shows clearly that if you observe the particles at the slits, but then erase this information before they hit the screen, once again they form an interference pattern, so the observation itself, and consciousness itself do not collapse the wave function. Many very complex experiments are discussed by Campbell and it makes this experiment even more interesting.

    @Crow_Rising Před rokem

Something to consider is that the use of the word "reality" in this video is often actually just referring to the perception of reality by an observer. To elaborate on what I mean by that: The human body is constructed out of many parts, and many of these parts serve the specific purpose of providing us our senses. Eyes, ears, etc. All of this data from the outside world is collected by our sensory organs, and then delivered to the brain which has the job of interpreting said data. Effectively, what this amounts to is that what we think is reality around us is in fact nothing more than a recreation created within the brain.
This could be the key to the "unreconcilable realities" being described. Objective reality may very well be holding true, but our brains aren't necessarily creating perfect copies of it for us to experience. While we may not be lying about our memories of something being different, the accuracy of our past experiences to objective reality is what is ultimately being drawn into question. It could simply be that somehow, some way, the brain interpreted data incorrectly, and inserted that wrong interpretation into its simulation of reality. This is something we know does happen, as we use it to trick each other deliberately all the time. It's the way camouflage works, for example.

we know it influence a outcome, or in other words it creates a outcome, a 0 or 1, there is in reality a wave. so you have to ask how this event horizon works and if it stands still or moves and that laws apply etc. maybe it is just the same, but this is how i understand it.

As the story goes, humans have become self-aware, united, and driven such that anything they wished would not be impossible for them. So the gods did something to their minds and confused them.
The humam consciousness as a new added factor into the cosmos is also the source of conflict in the "garden of eden".

Wow!! Very interesting story!! One of my college professor's used to tell a similar story about Adam and Eve, that they were in the Garden of Eden, but both of them were very stupid, because God wanted them that way, so they could be controlled, when Eve ate the forbidden fruit she gained knowledge, as did Adam when he ate it. They angered God and they were driven from the Garden of Eden, but my professor always used to say,, how can you been in paradise, when you are ignorant? You need knowledge to live a full life. He al ways said Eve did mankind a favor, by giving us knowledge, and the Hebrew Bible got the story wrong. He used to say in the Babylonian version of the story, Eve was honored for giving knowledge to mankind. Eve was tempted by the serpent, and almost every ancient group of peoples, has stories about the serpent giving mankind wisdom. I think there was definitely a conflict, within the gods, as you say in the Tower of Babel story, between keeping humans ignorant or giving them knowledge.

There is a difference though between the objective reality of how something is and PERSPECTIVE. I’m 5ft, so many people would say I’m short. But someone who is shorter than me would say I’m tall. They can both be right because my height is not an inherent thing about me as a physical thing, it is determined by what’s around me. This is the same with speed, and time. We might think it’s 4pm, but someone who does not measure time like we do (an alien?) might have a completely different system and way of measuring time. That doesn’t mean that it ISNT 4pm, or that it ISNT whatever time they think it is. What is objectively true is that we are both IN AND EXPERIENCING TIME. how we describe it may be different, but doesn’t affect the fact that we are both experiencing the same thing. I think where thus all gets confusing is when we start thinking that the thing we are experiencing isn’t actually what we are experiencing. We don’t experience 4pm, we experience time. I don’t experience being tall or short or 5ft, those are all descriptions of my physical-ness. They can all be true bc they are just arbitrary, made up concepts and words. They do not change or determine anything about the reality that I take up physical space, and experience time.

I think the double-slit quandary is because the observer has quantum entanglement with the quantum field experiment.Cern, for me, is the most appealing theory.Since Cern started back up last year there have been huge spikes in the Schumann Resonance in 24 hour intervals.Strange weather patterns and light formations have been seen and photographed above the facility. The new and improved Cern is running at 16.4 Teslas.Considering the Earth's gravitational field is only millionths of a Tesla and since the Earth's vibration resonance field is noticeably being affected, and probably has been to some degree prior, it could have a correlation to the premise that the M.E. is a vibration frequency shift to parallel dimensions of duplicate Earths and inhabitants. How else but in a quantum state can only the mind and not solid matter be transposed to an alternate you, which suggests to me the mind is composed of quantum particles..We affected do not possess our original time line bodies. This is my end theory derived from bits and pieces of information available and put together to form a cohesive logical conclusion .These things make sense to me more than anything else suggested

Good show!!! Remember, awhile back, they paid off scientists to say smoking is good for people. This is the same. This issue is now being used for social conditioning. Mandela's affect is due to the codes being changed in the simulacrum?
Matter behaving differently when observed versus unobserved does not work the way you're explaining it. When Thomas Young did this experiment, the effect may have to do with the electronic equipment he was using?

So, the girl in Moonraker DID have braces!!! I know she did because it was a funny gag. The studio must have touched up the film later due to the PC of the 1980s. A girl with braces would be underage, which is not necessarily true because even then adults got braces. Oh well.

It's crazy to me . If 30 or 40 said they have all seen the same random act of someone doing something , and recall what they've seen by memory as being a certain way., it's considered strong evidence of said thing being true because of actual eye witness accounts people go to jail for life or are put to death like this .. But if 1 million people recall Vader saying " Luke " were all wrong and just can't remember. Crazy

It all started when they turned on the LHC in 2012. Coincidentally, this is when the Mayans predicted the end of reality as we know it. Maybe it not a coincidence and the Mayans knew all along. The fruit of the loom logo is what convinced me the ME is real. There's so much residue proving it and I have vivid memories of it. It's hard to forget something I wore everyday as a kid. And when the cornucopia vanish, I just thought it was a brand change, not realizing at the time that the ME even existed. I hope we'll find out some day what's happening, but it isn't likely.

I have wondered if maybe different people have a different reality and that everyone is correct even if they disagree. Not even just on the mandela effects but everything. Maybe that is what creates preference and some of our differences in how we see the world. Maybe that is why two people who witness the same thing describe it so different, maybe people are not bad at recall and they don’t lack attention to detail as much as that what they saw was actually different.

Makes me think of Jesus in the Bible how he said with the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. He rebuked the waves and wind and made them calm, he walked on water and healed the blind, multiplied bread and fish and turned water to wine. If this is his creation he would know all about objective reality. 😮

The last video in this series should talk about the truth of the mandela effect. Research memory, dive deep. Talk about how mandela effects need time to happen. Time obscures memory, people obscure memory, events obscure memory. If you did the research you will get the answer.
Of course, no one wants to know the truth because time travel, simulations, etc are far more interesting. Fantasy has always been more entertaining than documentaries.

I think I have another idea. So there is something called a cosmic ray bit flip. Which is when a computer chip gets hit by a cosmic ray, and the bit flips.
So what if the same thing happens inside peoples brains? A cosmic ray could change a neuron and make a different thing be remembered. Brains are much larger than a computer chip, so it would be more likely for an interaction to occur.
You might say that it wouldn’t cause the same misremembering but I’m not sure. Humans don’t remember like computers exactly, we don’t store an image of pikachu for example. We store that pikachu is yellow, has black tipped ears, a zigzag tail that isn’t tipped with black like the ears. So a cosmic ray hits the brain and makes it change to a tail with a black tip.
This does already happen with eyes. In space many astronauts observe the Cosmic ray visual phenomena
