Where I got my stuff:
• C&C grids & connectors - Half of my grids are from guineapigcagesstore.com and half of them are from amazon. My old cage was from GPCS so I took apart that cage to make this one. The grids and connectors from GPCS were thicker and better quality compared to the Amazon ones so when I combined them they didn’t fit perfectly together. I would suggest getting all your grids and connectors from one location!

Thank you I’m loving these lights too! I use to have the dangly globe lights and those were pretty but I like how these lights are hidden and aren’t in the piggies faces. They’re super customizable too 😊

Nice big cage!
I only have a loft on my guinea pig's cage, but after watching The Pig Room's video on his cages I added some wooden planks to support the bottom so that the loft is easily removable when I clean the cage. The Pig Room has a cage setup like yours and he uses wooden dowels to support the upper cage.

I love it but I have too much anxiety to have a stacked cage. I currently have a wood and CC cage and I made my boyfriend add extra staples lolol I just get anxious. But your cage and set up is beautiful
Thank you for including all the links! I'm still learning as a first-time guinea pig owner, and now our girl had babies so we may be building a similar cage. My only question is, with all the hidies and whatnot, do you find the pigs have enough room to run around? Our boy gets crazy zoomies so he needs room to run, haha. Thanks!
You’re welcome! And that was one of my concerns as well. I try to include softer hideys so they can easily run through them. The patio with two ramps is also a good addition to add more room in the cage for zoomies. With a cage this size though, they’ll definitely need more floor time!

This is an amazing cage set-up! I'm working on an upgrade to mine and have so many questions about how to build the ramp. I love the double-ramp so I may try that! I see that you put their pellet bowl inside of another bowl, does that keep them from dumping it out? Mine dump it almost as soon as I fill it up!

I love your cage so much I’m going to get a guinea pig hopefully soon I hope to get sooner before my birthday because I don’t think I can wait that long for a cute little guinea pig I’m looking at a huge cage that will be spacious enough for one guinea pig it’s actually pretty big so I might end up getting two I would name my guinea pig Lucy I haven’t stopped thinking about guinea pigs all day long they’re just so cute and I love your cage

@@balloonforest6378 Thanks for the advice already have two guinea pigs they’re both boys and their names are moe and Sammy they have a humungous cage it’s three grids by six grids they have plenty of room to run around and play and they have so many hides I think it’s safe to say that they’re spoiled

Is the bottom cage easy to clean? I’m thinking of getting more piggies and stacking the cages to save space. With only one grid of open space to fit your head and hands is it hard to clean?

What do you put in their forage bowl? My boys are SO dirty/messy too! Ugh.... I deep cleaned their cage yesterday and they pooped so much in their soft house... like 50+ poops - yet they love to lay in there too... do you ever wonder why the boys poop in their beds? I don’t get it... I have to get some new hideys... without floors... How do you keep all of your soft/plush clean? Do you have a ton of extra beds to use while you wash the others?... We are New Guinea pig owners - we got two 2 yo males from a woman ho could no longer take care of them...
How long did it take for them to be comfortable with you?

hi im geting to pigs and i was wondering if it was safe to turn my walk in closet into that cage
Definitely safe, I would reccomend buying cnc grids & lining the walls with them so they don't chew the walls or anything, & to create a barrier from the door so you can keep the closet open for ventilation.😊

People usually build it themselves they get those little grid units but I’m pretty sure you can sometimes buy them pre built as well

Why are 3 guinea pigs separated from the other 2? 🥺
I’m pretty sure 2 of them are girls and 3 of them are boys so they need to be separated if they’re not fixed or else they’ll have a million babies lol

Have you had any problems with having male guinea pigs and female guinea pigs in the same room? I’ve heard male guinea pigs will fight with each other if they smell a female in the room. I’m thinking about adopting another pair of guinea pigs. I already have a pair of males.

The bottom cage is only big enough for 2 guinea pigs ☹️
A 5×2 CnC grid cage is appropriate for 3 guinea pigs. Sometimes things just look smaller or bigger online than they are in person. Many people consider a 2×4 CnC minimum for 3 pigs.🌸
