This is one of the best upgrades you can do for your Ford Fiesta mk7 2008-2016, to replace the old factory radio, the headunit is fully loaded with Sat-Nav GPS, Bluetooth, internet and many more… You can even amplify the sound of your music and be your own DJ, also you can download tons of apps from the play store to use. I've done a full review on the 1st one I installed for my Fiance at the time and now I will be installing the higher spec Apple Carplay & Android Auto model.
This will include doing a review and showing how to make the original steering controls work with the new headunit.

Yes the moment you switch the headlights on it automatically reduces the brightness or you can set it manually to increase it or decrease it 👍🏾💯

Ive had a bit of a hell journey with these units. I originally ordered the tesla style screen which looke amazimg but they sent the wrong loom (sent one for the first gen mk7's with only 1 cd plug. The 7.5 has 2 plugs). They sent the correct loom but the decoder was for 2009 to 2014 fiesta, i needed a decoder which included 2015 and up models. They sent the correct decoder which worked with buttons but the sound quality was crap. It was as if it had maximum base and max mid and max trebble. It was very hard to navigate to the equliser settimg but no matter what you did, it still sounded crap. Plus it didnt fully support the original settings of car.
I got one of the screens you have which worked a lot better audio wise. Although the decoder was correct, trying to find the correct protocall in the settings was also hard. Lots for 2009 to 2012 and 2012 to 2014 options. Finally found 2013 to 2016. Looking forward to your other videos on this

I’ve just installed a similar unit however I can’t seem to get steering wheel control buttons or the centre console buttons to work , the mapping app does not seem to recognise a button press

The stand out screen definitely isn’t for me , the reason I went with the one I did is the fact it sits inside a shroud similar to the original, prefer the more oem look

Also i wanted to ask, will the apple carplay function only work with wifi connected or will it work with just standard bluetooth connection?

can you display engine temperature on there ? 🤔
Yes there’s an app you can download on the headunit to show engine stats air temp battery level etc. 👍🏾💯

Hy! Nice job, i buy also a model like that, but i have 2 issues, i cannot use stering wheel controls, and when i close the car the Android is not turning off i have to do'it manualy, what i did wrong? Maibe you can help me...

Hi, awesome video, I do have a question, however... I have the same panel as you do, but do you have any idea why the PANEL buttons don't work, but the steering wheel buttons work perfectly? Do I need to rewire it? Thanks
Check canbus settings raise and select 2013

Yo great video man , has anyone had any trouble when turning the car off the screen stays on ? Cant find any settings on the device thinking it could be a perm live cable but not sure what color it is 😫 drained my battery twice now
Never had that issue also when fitting for customers, they’ve never experienced this, where did you get your headunit from and have you changed your canbus settings?
Thanks for the response, got the unit off ali express looks similar to the one you have , i think the canbus is set up im just having trouble when truing car off it stays on and the central lockings stopped working off the key , i have a raise canbus on a 2013 fiesta

Is there one specifically for Apple CarPlay so you don’t have to press the zlink each time?
This is the one, link in the description you just need to connect your bluetooth first time then it goes straight to CarPlay each time you have your bluetooth connected in the car it’s got an automatic setting feature 👍🏾💯

It looks big, how does it affect how much you can see when you drive?
