I live three minutes walk from the house he grew up in and remember him playing with the local team. He was good then and he's good now. Knowing the family you're not going to have any off the field or mental issues with him either. Down to earth people.

I am not comparing because i love mesut a lot and i admire him still this day but right now , this current MO looks better than our former MO because of his work rate. He is everywhere, And when we see a player giving his best every game in every part of field , we have nothing for him except praises. Our young players making me feel worthless as a guy turning 26 in a week with no job yet but still im loving it .

It didn't ruin him, that's constructive criticism, even Ozil said he'd like to score more lol. Anyway, Ødegaard did the same the other week, and he made up for it the week after, taking the shot when the opportunity presented itself. There's no need to over pass when there's a shooting opportunity.

I wasnt to happy about the signing. I kind of knew he was "like Ozil, only worse". But iv changed my mind now. Odegaard will only become better, and his biggest strength, might just be his mentality.
He reminds me of prime Isco. The ball is glued to his foot he never seems to lose it and before he gets the ball he seems to always know what type of pass to play and plays it. He is so clever, quick thinking and tricky with his feet. What a guy we have on our hands. I must give credit to Arteta as well. I think in the earlies he wasn't playing that well and then he benched Odegaard for a number of games and played Smith Rowe Instead. I think Odegaard was upset and said to himself never again will he be on the bench buut he'll make that position his and he's done it. He's playing with a hunger, urgency and desire to prove he's the best and I absolutely love it.
When he was at real Sociedad i said this guy is my dream signing for arsenal

Looking at the clips, he looks like the second coming of Cazorla. Good close control, hardworking and able to pin a pass through or over to a teammate.
But when you see him overall, he has a much better quality in terms of marshaling the midfield and the wingers to their position. Him and laca both lead the forward lines well. There are times when you need him to pass the ball early so as not to lose momentum but he's young, hungry and most of all driven for success so he'll learn.
Odegaard and saka chemistry remember me of ozil and Sanchez chemistry
But they are younger and they're in their way to be as good as they are in their prime
