how to win, how to learn, learn faster, how to win at anything, learn anything, the secret to winning, how to win every time, what it takes to win
I'm an archer and an archery coach, this is exactly how we are told to practice, you are trying to perfect a process to the best of your ability, and do it consistently that way every time, nothing else matters, aiming isn't the hard part at 90% of competition distances, the hard part is having a consistent process. Once you got that down, focus on your target and let your bow do the rest.
I try but the arrow never move i try to let the bow do the rest and that actually not the good expression to use 😂 im just kidding mouahaha
Hello coach I want to learn archery do u have any advices I don't know where to start.
Thanks bro
the same applies to being "good", when you focus on being good you rarely ever are, but if you focus on learning, humility, gratitude etc you will have a positive mindset and automatically do good
Yes!!Yes!! I know people who think they are good, then they become self entitled, and therefore, not good anymore. With humility e keep developing more and more, and THAT is the way. Totally see what you are saying.
That's the same thing i learned from a book. It's called "the subtle art of not giving a fuck". Really great book if you wanna read it
This is actually good advice, the more we focus on winning the more psychological stress you put on yourself.
Accurate!
If you want to loose don't focus on loosing
@@user-lx2xx5xz4m you mean the opposite?
Nah man focusing on winning gives you something to aim for during competition and it pushes you to your limits more than to just play to "Learn"; the learning is done in preparation, when you analyze your games and work to improve.
@@thealltradesjack you are wrong! During the game your whole focus must be on making the best moves and not focussing on winning which not only distracts you from making the best moves but also puts you under tremendous stress causing you blunder.
I remember once i had an archery lesson on a retreat went to. an instructor taught us the technique, then we practiced a bit and had a competion after. I decided to focus solely on perfecting my technique because it was probably the only chance id have to learn archery. Whilst everyone else was focused on winning, i experimented and practiced. I was behind at first but i got the hand of it quickly and by the end of the session, i was able to shoot perfectly on target anywhere. Everyone was impressed. The thoughts i had afterwards are exactly the same as in this video.
I also sort of noticed this paradox. Let me get this straight: when I do something, and don't focus on the objective, I assend; on the contrary, when I do so, the outcome i wish to happen doesn't even seem to happen. Whether that's a paradox or not, the message just conveyed above is totally approved by me.
This is high quality material. I believe this channel is going to blow up with consistent posting. I'll be following this channel closely.
Appreciate it!
@@highestthumos when I wrote this, pretty sure this vid didn't have more than 1-2k views and under a thousand subscribers? Idk can't see the analytics but yeah, this channel is starting to blow up because it's at like 37k views and 20k subs I know that's a hell of a lot more than before
Interesting ideas because winning is like a pleasure while learning is a pain. However looking back, the more pain I have endured and still kept going I have got to a stronger place than by winning and maybe getting complacent.
I agree with a lot of what was said in this video. It was really interesting to see how constantly trying to win discourages one's willingness to take risks and fail, because everyone has to lose sometimes. However, I'm a little confused about when one should focus on winning, because I don't think there is a time to focus on winning. Even during important competitions, (and especially then) I believe the importance should be on enjoying the game or whatever is happening RIGHT NOW rather than focusing on the result after that. When people focus too much on winning, that's when their nerves take over, they get into their own head, and they lose.
Cool vid. This advice is part of my identity now and I can say it does wonders everywhere in life. Most of the time people always see me fail, but then comes the day where there's a "important" competition and I sometime dominate and people find out at that time. When I go rock climbing, I can spend 3 hours and not complete a single boulder problem, but this is a cheatcode to getting better so fast. It's a long comment, but it's to say that I 100% believe in your advise and also recommend it to everyone reading this
"Like everyone else, you want to learn the way to win, but never to accept the way to lose, to accept defeat, to learn to die is to be liberated from it. So when tomorrow comes, you must free your ambitious mind, and learn the art of dying."
-Bruce(Jun Fan) Lee
I truly agree about internal vs external reward. Sometimes people without any medals, money, external respect in other eyes or anything else would not be that motivated to do something.
The goal and the rewards that are internal are essential for following the goals.
Thanks for the video!
I’ve been trying to switch my mindset to focus on internal rewards more, so thank you for this
Having a balance between accomplishing the objective and cultivating the skills to produce a good result are of equal importance. When one focuses on getting the end result they may miss the things that could have made a difference. If one focuses on learning the best way they may lose sight of working on solving the problem.
In many instances in life, prescribing one best way without accounting for the other end of the argument leads to an incomplete world view. Take the middle path.
What an awesome video. Occasionally I play pool and I just noticed that most often I focus on winning therefore I play it safe and rarely try something new. What an eye opening insight. Thanks!
There was a whole lot of rambling in this video but actually helped me. I’ve been trying to get this one thing perfect before moving on to the rest of my business when really I should see it as a learning opportunity and forget perfection. I’ll simply perfect it along the years. The quicker I fail the quicker I’ll learn.
when you mentioned that sometimes you should feel what its like to let your subconscious take care of your techniques, my eyes were opened. I told my friends that i dont think when i play but I realized the reason I don't think is because i'm focused on winning instead of improving my technique, which is something im severely lacking. I am very fast, in reacting, in memorizing combos, and in basic pressure, but I don't have technique, no mix, no game sense, just raw strength
I should probably go practice my technique soon... its definitely way harder!
Same dude. It's a side of mental I have to change and work on because I have more or less the same issues and I feel that this is mandatory for me to move on and level up at this point.
Formulate an algorithm that you are very familiar with and play with it. That's why we have signature moves. Build one.
This channel is a life manual. It will hit major milestones in the near future!
Paradoxically, I’m viewing this video in an effort to succeed/win more
Same here, but how is it a paradox? Isn't it more of a coincidence
that's a great video right there. It's not overly overlapping with other self improvement content. It's simple and it make sense
If the focus is only winning, you could only pick easier opponents and that will technically make you more likely to win. The real thing is: you probably won't be able to derive long term pleasure from that because you will probably have messed up your dopamine receptors which regulate the reward mechanism. If you focus on learning more techniques on the other hand, you'll probably get your ass kicked a lot, but when you go to opponents which have the same time you do in an area, but have focused solely on winning, you'll probably win because you'll see through their flimsy techniques. I remember playing Max Payne 3 on Hard for the first time a long time ago and indeed finding it actually quite hard. Now I laugh comically because I have mastered the game to such an extent that I find even the most extreme difficulties (Old School and Hardcore) to be way easier than Hard was than I first played it. I know the perception of difficulty can be really subjective, but there it is: I've improved my technique to a point that I've mastered the game.
same thing happened with me my focus in my 12th grade was to learn better be better version of myself and i won and now i am one of the top gpa holders but i ve never focused on winning or be at the top i focused on being the best version of my self and training my brain to do more i was 47 kgs in 10th standard now i weigh around 78-80kgs it was all about being better always and not on passing someone more power to everyone hustling out there you will get there i learn everyday and always remember life is always learned by people around you.
If you want to be happy, dont chase happiness. If you want love dont chase love. That is life
This was my next content i was trying to produce, never knew someone else has the same mindset..thank you
This is super simple yet very deep!if anyone gets the point!some may think its lame but,u killed it with - "Focus on taking the ACTIONS which will deliver the Results"...i wanna frame tat up!!tat 1 sentence can be applied everywhere for anything!but many r already trained to naturally be tat,esp those repeat winners!
Stop focus on winning. Just Dominate both training and games 💪🏿🔥
strength, kindness, and humility
Krishna says to Arjuna in The Gita
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
"You have the right to work only but never to it's fruits. Let not the fruits of actions be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction."
In a more simpler way, know your duty and just do it.
This is applicable in all aspects of life. Great video, great channel.
Soon, your channel will blow up. Very very impressive content. In my life I didn't watch this style of content. You use only two colours white and black and explained every detail. ❤❤❤❤❤
This made me think of something Bob Knight the famous college basketball coach said - everybody has the "will to win." He focused on teaching his players to have the "will to PREPARE to win."
Thank you sir! You saved my life!
Found your channel today, watched three of your videos. Got blown away by each one. You have earned a new subscriber buddy.
Thank you, appreciate it!
@@OutperformMP No problem. Just keep making the phenomenal videos.
Hence it’s comforting to join competitions or take risky life decisions because at the end of the day, I wanna learn
As a MMA fighter and future world champ this is absolutely correct. Amazing video 👍

Great video. Great examples. Thank you for this wisdom
Shree Krishna also said:don't focus on end result ,just focus on your work.
This is exactly what social media must be for!

So much wisdom in a short video
This Channel is definitely gonna blow up
I really believe in what you said, it's kinda my way of life.
Love the content and style of presentation.
Focus on the input and the out put will settle itself
I don’t care about winning. I truly never have. Every sport, every game, and every competition I’ve participated in I wanted to have fun. I wanted to do good. All I ever wanted out of my life was to do good and enjoying it. Life has blurred this and pressured me to “perform” and “get results”. I hate it and because of so I literally stopped performing, stopped playing, and even when I’m the literal best in the field I just quit.
500th liked. Yeah I can kinda reflect this on myself, I remember early this year when I preparing for my ABRSM practical piano exam(the only exam where I'm proud and satisfied by the result), I spent as much time as I can to practice my pieces and while I'm practicing, I only have improving my mistakes in my mind compare to other exams where I don't enjoy and I just want to get good results.
I used this logic "To make money don't think about the money"
Now i am jobless broke bankrupt. Great logic use it for real
Too many aspiring artists and professionals focus on the glory of attaining preeminence instead of simply being the best THEY can be. Practice your craft for the joy of the craft, not for the attainment of glory. As with "the score will take care of itself", the glory will take care of itself if you focus on playing the game for the love of the game. If you only focus on the glory of celebrity you will miss the steps required to get there.
Great Video man
I am from India. I analysed myself many times I always think about Winning rather than focusing on the present. We should actually love the process towards winning instead of dreaming about Winning. Some people around me advised this to me But I always used to listen and ignore it after some time. I need to understand this deeply and have to change my life.
I am 24 Years and Today is 06/03/2024.
Man i needed this a lot
Absolutely right thanks
This has been my thought for years, i mean even weirder ones like "i lost my earbus, better NOT search it" then i found it a few hours later, and i was on a few competitions not even want to win but i just want to eat ice cream and have fun, yet my team won first place quite a few times, one time i might figure out i didnt always get what i want so i wanted the opposite, yet it works sometimes
Eye opening Video I really appreciate your effort for the better well-being of human beings! GOD bless you
Thanks
There's a lot of facts ❤
Great Stuff Brother🎉🎉
Great videos, keep doing what youre doing :)
Love the content it impressive it given me wide view of how I look at things
Thanks very much for creating such an incredible context. As being fun of your channel for a while, I will love to be able to create content like your style. Is there any recommendations or any way I can learn to create video content like yours
BRO YOUR EDIT IS SO CLEAN, HOW OR WHERE CAN I LEARN HOW TO DO THIS EDIT ?
What i have been doing this last week is set every win small or large of that day in my notes than see how many i won and how valuable the wins are. 90% off the wins i count are some form of action this way i stimulate myself to take action cause i want to get that dopamine from winning. I wanna see how long this gonna work for me cause my willpower became big this last year more than ever
Great video 👍🏼
This also apply to studying and exams as most important competition.
Great job 👏🏼.
Takin note!
Great Video, apart from the information: The animations are great keep going your stuff is awesome.
Much appreciated 👏
that's helpful tnxs😘
05:16 *Prioritize learning over winning in less crucial competitions; valuable experiences gained can outweigh the short-term satisfaction of winning.*

I have heard about a term some days back called the 'Blue eyed boy' favourite person of boss - how some employees are able to become that while others can't ? What's the secret..
You’ve been watching Dan Koe then you decided to start this channel.
Amazing content 🎉
You make incredible videos man....if you audio quality gets a bit better...you will outperform all other productivity channels
Youve got so unique animations... subbed and keep it up!
Thank you!
bro your videos are real good. keep uploading.
Thanks! A lot of videos in the pipeline already!
Great video ❤
Great channel, glad I found it so early.
Question: What software do you use to build this kind of videos?
Please let me know in case you find out .
very well produced video, it's inspiring to me, as someone who wants to be a content creator some day :)
The BG is right again
Amazing video id love to add something I got from Jeff Chan, there are two types of training esentially, training to win and training to learn, both are equally as important. Out of competition learn and closer to competition ramp up the winning training.
oh you hit this later on whoops haha
This video! This video should have appeared 3 years ago, life would be easier then 💪🏽
I was just thinking this but about my skill in street fighter. I learned all this cross ups and combos but I never use them in game because I want to win. But if I practiced those combos in game I would get better and as a result I might win.
I just want to win against my own self-doubts, tbh. Don’t care much for feeling superior to others, but proving myself wrong about my abilities is peak.
Outcomes are just symtomps of the processes
Don't remember the exact quote, but that's the general idea. Just focus on fleshing out, optimizing the processes, do it so well that not achieving the intended outcome (in this case a win) is just impossible
Learned this from the guy called Justin Sung btw
Awesomeness
I also thought about this but i was not sure about that
myself already won. im God, have you not seen what happened to those people myself doesnt like? ill do whatever myself wants to do
3:23 true, currently in that phase
