Nice review. No sticks of celery, no ridiculous tatoos, and no ripped jeans.
Unfortunately diesel only accounted for 6% sales of the 2015 unrevised model. It's a pity. I've the 1.4tdi 90bhp. Fuel economy is amazing, it'd go on a sniff of diesel 😂.
Martin what mpg are you getting under what usage / typical cruising speed? Considering one of these cars used for long trips between London and the southwest and wondering which to go for

Despite showing its age quite a bit, I much prefer the interior of the Volvo V40 if you get it with the white trim.
It's a budget car what do you expect? Many budget cars from 20 years ago have much worse interior than this..
