1. Why not cheese Quessles discharge would be way faster or not ?
2.Why do you kill the NPC in the Gargoyle Tower ? is it because of humanity?
3. Do you know about the Gwyn Estus Cheese ? If you run behind him and heal he always does the slow Attack

For ceaseless I think that would count as a glitch, and this is glitchless. I heard there is a way to get him to just like fall off the map or something too, but at this point in the run I had plenty of damage to just kill him quickly enough for it to not matter. The higher level speedruns do a skip over the lava, but it's pretty precise and I didn't want to waste time learning a strat I wouldn't be able to get consistently in one day.
Yeah the NPC in the tower is for the humanity, which I realize now I could just kill the miracle guy in firelink later when I have more damage for some humanities to make it easier lol
Yeah I would circle around and heal sometimes when I'm low on health against gwyn, but I'd rather use that time to get a R1 in for more damage to go faster instead of estusing at full health

@star0chris knocking Ceaseless off is definitely not a glitch, the devs programed it in with its own animations just like the Iron Golem. And honestly I think it would've been faster even with your damage at that point.

idk if u chose female or male but if u didnt know they have different acceleration and deceleration speeds for running. Fem accel is faster to get to full speed but male deaccel is faster to slow down so speedrunners use weapon swapping as male because it makes them accel the same speed as females. Also why glitchless? I understand glitch is more mechanically demanding but also u have less bossfights to learn because of the wrong warp. Also weapon art swapping rapier moves to dragon tooth makes fights much easier and also funnier imo. I would understand though cause im pretty sure theres a very precise cliff pixel route u have to run perfectly which would take a while to learn. I would def enjoy watching you try to learn it in under 24 hours if possible.
@@FutureQueen_ Glitchless is just more appealing to me as you actually need to learn all the fights at a general level, where with Any% (even without the kiln wrong warp) you just blow things up. It was also to get better at DS1 for an upcoming video (next video) so stay tuned :)

Wasn't my intention to be cocky at all, I really enjoy learning a new speedrun of a game and getting better, but then speedrunning becomes a bit less fun for me when I've gotten really good at it and it just comes down to optimizing a few seconds or just trying to get better RNG for something. So forcing myself to only spend one day doing speedruns keeps it very enjoyable and also puts a bit of pressure/stakes on the line for the one day thing. Also it's not like my time is anywhere near being good lol, it's a dogshit time with slow strats, but speedrunning is about having fun learning how to go fast in a game, doesn't need to be perfect ever.
And ER will be in some near future videos, so just be patient and not be a smartass :)
