- Patti LaBelle is a 3 year old keg shod registered SHOBA mare that I sold to Mario and Julia Pernice of Germany. She came from very nice bloodlines around here locally in Tennessee. She is 30 plus mph and will come right back down and trail ride all day. Very gentle temperment and a ton of heart. This is an exceptional mare who should be a huge asset to their breeding program in Germany. Can't wait to see the offspring she will be producing over the next few years, Lord willing. I played this first cut of the spotted gaited horse 4 times and was amazed at the timing between the horse's 4-beat gait and the music! It was like the rider, the horse and I were all praising the Lord, together. It's as though the whole team were in one accord. Very inspiring. Just had to put it on my Facebook page. GLORIOUS!!!👏 👏 👏

WOW I bet by now she has had a few foals!! It makes me happy to see a gaited horse over in Germany!! Im from Tazewell VA and I grew up riding racking and walking horses and I'm in love!! They are so versatile and Jacob you are an amazing awesome trainer and you can tell you love what you do and you are good at it!! I bet her owners in Germany are in love with Miss Patti and her offspring!! God Bless!!

Get Grounded Equine ...It is called going with the horse rather than sitting on it while it goes. The whole trick is in the very long stirrups, all the rider's weight is down there, frees up the spine and hind legs, and they cannot run along unless you ride like this, almost weightless. You think he's sitting back there, but he's not.
I love where you turn your hat around & step I the gas...just like in my convertible! She's wicked fast isn't she? Hope she is enjoying life in Germany.

There are MANY other gaited breeds. Not just the icelandic. This horse is probably a pure saddlebred

No, she's not pacing
Pacing is when both legs on the same side of the horse move forward and back together. This causes a side to side rocking instead of forward and back motion.
